It was a cold morning in Seoul, at the brink of dawn you would still see the bustling city moving and gleaming, if we were, to be honest, Seoul was a somewhat crowded city, which reminded Arleen so much of her motherland. Arleen was a dance student at her college, it struck her fancy at the sudden uprise of people turning into idols and striking goals in their careers. She found it inspiring and started to major in dance, she would diet and overwork her body to its utmost limit as if she could go all day and all night, dancing in the studio.

Her friend Munam said otherwise about her inspiration to become an idol. Saying things like "The industry will eat you up whole Arleen, it's not a safe place for your mind and your body." and saying even more things like "The industry is homophobic, racist, and xenophobic in itself, don't you see that it gets harder? Why don't you take the easy way out and become a dance teacher! I'm sure it would work!" But of course, Arleen was a stubborn prick, and wouldn't let go of her inspirations and dreams for such "simple" problems that don't really affect her.

Munam really did care for Arleen though, not wanting to ruin her life but giving her warning signs when he knew something was going to go wrong. But Arleen was always able to reassure him that everything would be just fine and nothing would happen. When you think about it, Arleen wasn't afraid to give up, but that didn't mean she was able to, sometimes even a part of her brain tries to warn her of the things she is going to do but she simply can't help her self. She was a daredevil.

While Arleen was sitting in bed doing her homework she noticed that she had gotten an email from her school about her dancing classes. She sighed harshly and opened up the email, reading it out loud it said "Hello Arleen! You have been selected to one of the most prestigious companies out there! The company RE would like to formally invite you to a class, and if you pass the class you'll be able to make it as a trainee and into a full-grown idol in just the span of one year! I hope you do consider this serious offer. Thank you, The secretary of RE."

Arleen couldn't believe what she was looking at. The tears slowly started coming and she couldn't stop crying. She screamed out Munams name and Munam came running into the room so fast. "Arleen, what happened?" The man said huffing and puffing, out of breath. Arleen got up and ran over to Munam and hugged him. Squeezing him tight she looked up at the guy and said "I got invited to RE and if I ace the test they'll invite me in as a Trainee and then I'll soon become an idol! Isn't that great???" Munam sighed at the sight of seeing his friend so happy and jolly not knowing what her ass was getting into. "Yeah it's great but do you know that they'll be checking you more, they may do CA and annoy the hell outta you or even say homophobic slurs."

Arleen nods her head, answering yes. Arleen never forgot about all that negative stuff Munam said to scare her off. Arleen backed away from Munam and said " Munam of course I never forget, I think, But that's not the point right now, how should I get dressed? What am I packing into my duffel and suitcase???" Munam shrugged and both he and Arleen had stared at each other in confusion for a long time before going to Arleen's closet and taking out the clothes she would pack on her way to becoming a Trainee.

After Arleen was finished packing her bags it was time for Arleen to leave. She had fixed up her hair and had put on decent clothes. Munam was saddened by the fact that his best friend was leaving him but he didn't want to tell Arleen that. She would become annoying and baby him. As Arleen leaves out the front door she hugs Munam tightly, latching on to him as if he would seep out of her fingers and be lost forever. Arleen lets go of Munam and leaves for the bus station. So long Seoul.
