Chapter 29|| Pizza

I looked at it for a moment when I heard the sound again I flinch. I stood up taking a lamp on my hand as I slowly walk my way beside that window.

My heart beating so fast in nervousness on what is it on my window. The sound was made again and I silently flinch not wanting to make a sound.

I slowly held on to my curtains so I can see clearly on what is it outside my window. When I opened it, my eyes met up with another pair. I screamed at the top of my lungs backing away scared and shock at the same time.

A knock was made on the window as I quickly noticed the thing outside my window. I quickly walked back to my window and opened it. "Jaemin, you scared me" I exclaimed as I helped him get inside my room.

He chuckled at me as he was holding a pizza box on his hand.

"You are insane" I commented as he chuckled, "You should have seen you face" He teased as I frown at him. "What are you doing here?" I asked as he comfortably lay down on my bed as he place the pizza box beside him as I was closing the window.

"I thought you might be hungry" He simply said.

"My brother is just outside" I lied.

"No he isn't" He said bluntly as he looked at me with a smirk as he knew I was lying. "Plus he is on a date with Hyeji" I raise an eyebrow amused at my brother. "I knew it" I muttered.

I walk to my bed as I sat down beside Jaemin. "Well, I have to study for the upcoming test" I said looking down on my book.

"Trojan war?" He asked as I felt him move. I looked at him confused on why he move as I see him opening the pizza box. "You should eat first" He said giving me a slice of pizza as I gladly accept it.

I took a bite at it since I really am hungry. I looked at Jaemin as I see him taking a bite as well. "So Jaemin, What are you really doing here?" I asked him again

"I was supposed to take you out but your brother called so peace offering" He said as he gestured on the pizza. "Peace offering? Why is there even a peace offering?" I laughed taking another bite.

"I honestly don't know" He grinned as I playfully roll my eyes getting back to eating.

As I was eating, I looked at my book trying to read the story about the Trojan war. I am already in the part where there is a horse thing saying it's a gift.

I read it quietly as I felt Jaemin watching me. "Stop staring at me" I groan hiding my face with my hair.

"Why not?" He grinned.

"Instead of staring at me might as well you should study" I said. "I've already tackled that. I think you already know that I repeated" He said as I looked at him confused then nods when I remember someone told me about it. I wanted to ask but I think it wasn't the time for me to ask him that knowing he might not be comfortable talking about it.

I stayed quiet as I get back to reading the book. I felt Jaemin moved but I didn't looked since I was focused in reading. Jaemin spoke explaining me the story
as I notice his voice was too loud for me to hear as I notice he was near me.

I looked at him to see him very near me, his face a few inches away from mine. His hand behind me using it as support so he could say properly.

My heart is beating again, Just why Na Jaemin ?

"They attacked the city at night, killed them all and burn the city to the ground. Some escaped, Paris stayed for the city and found Achilles then killed him." Jaemin finished.

I was too focused on how Jaemin is so close to me. Jaemin's eyes were on the book then he noticed I was quiet his eyes traveled to mine making me flinch a little so I look away embarrassed.

I cleared my throat, "Well, that was smart" I commented ignoring that my face is burning.

I've noticed that Jaemin is not saying anything so I looked at him confused on what happened to him.

So my face turns to him again to see him looking at me, his face so near me. I gulp nervous as I sense my heart thumping so loud.

I felt his face getting near me and I was frozen to my spot.

I'm still confused of what I really feel for Jaemin.

So I quickly back away looking down nervous on how he'll react that I just slightly rejected him.

"It's fine, Daehyun." He said reassuring me. "I won't kiss you without your permission, I promise" He added as I slowly look at him and he was giving me a small smile.

We finished studying so basically Jaemin and I are just talking.

Actually, we are talking about the first time we met.

"You bumped in to me" I exclaimed.

"No you did" Jaemin grinned as I rolled my eyes at him.

The first time I met Jaemin was the coffee incident and he didn't even say sorry.

"Daehyun!!!" I heard my name being shouted ouside my room as I heard the door knob twisting. I quickly pushed Jaemin to the ground as I heard him groan as he looked at me confused.

I feel sorry for pushing him.

I looked at him apollogetically then quickly look away when my bedroom door is open.

I see my brother standing there with a grin.

"Have you heard of a knock?" I said annoyed as I glance at Jaemin as he noticed the situation. He hid his half body under my bed silencing himself.

"Why are you still studying?" He asked.

"Why are you home so early?" I asked him.

"You shouldn't answer a question with another question. Plus, what are you talking about? It's 11:00 pm already" He said as I looked at him in disbelief.

It's already 11:00pm ?

Fuck, I lost track of time.

"Go to sleep, Daehyun. You still have school." He said expecting me to just nod. "It's actually we. We have school" I informed him as his face was blank a little annoyed.

He rolled his eyes, "Is your foot okay? I'll tell Jaemin that he doesn't have to pick you up" My brother asked worried but more worried about Jaemin being near me.

"No, it's fine. I actually prefer in a car than in a motorcycle" I refused as my brother looked at me suspicious. "Oh don't give me that look. You just got home from your date with Hyeji" I exclaimed as he looked at me stunned.

"How'd you know?" He asked, "A little bunny told me" A mumbled lowkey referring to Jaemin.

I stood up from my seat as I remember Jaemin is still under my bed. I push my brother out my room, "Good night, see you whenever and learn to know please" I pushed him as I closed my room door.

I turn around with a sigh, as I see Jaemin sat up from his position. "A little bunny?" he said looking at me disbelief as I chuckle.

"Oh come on, you look like a bunny" I grinned as he stood up and chuckle.

"I didn't even notice we've been talking for long time" I muttered as he nods.

I lookd at him, "so how're you going to go home?" I asked.

"The same how I came here" He grinned.

Jaemin looked at me then walk near me making me frozen again from my spot.

He won't kiss me, he promised.

Right?

Jaemin puts a hand on my cheek and leaned in, giving me a short kiss.

"I told you, I don't do promises" He smirked as I frown to him rolling my eyes at him.

Annoyed that my heart is beating fast again.

"I'll pick you up tomorrow" He gave me one last kiss on my forehead as he exits my window.
