"She's replacing Goodwin's shift." informed the blond, cutting him off. Remus was squinting his eyes in annoyance before washed away again with worry.

"That I know of. So, I searched the castle and I can't find her. I checked the prefects' schedule for the day..." he continued, darting eyes to his three friends. By the word prefects schedule, it was the code for the marauder's that he had checked the map—Gammaliel was not in Hogwarts.

"Then we have to find her." Sirius's tone was rocky, he paced forward swiftly, hands trembled against his robe. The blond followed him towards the portrait hole. James shared a look to Lily before the rest of them got off their seat, the elder Black heir had always been so nurturing towards the girl.

"Wait-wait, Sirius!" Moony pivoted on his heels marching to catch up with the two boys. He stood before them, blocking the portrait hole entrance, "It's just—it's Goodwin's partner for tonight is...it's your brother."

And that led the elder Black to where he was, a red-hot fist away to harm the only blood-related family he ever cared about—Regulus. Had it not because of the Irish witch stood between the two brothers, the sky and hell would have started a war. The corner of Sirius's eyes were reddening, from an asphyxiating fury to the younger boy.

"Out of all people," began Sirius, scoffing with a sardonic stare. "It was your idea wasn't it?"

The brothers' eyes were the same pale platinum, yet contained a different type of anger. Sirius's were fuelled with maddening fury, as if lava was gliding against his skin, veins on his neck poked scarlet as if his blood was running through limitless courage of a dominant lion—made out of its canine essence. His body was towering against the two prefects. Gemma placed a firm palm on the older boy's chest, keeping the two away.

"Do you have any idea how long you took her? Or how long you've been away?!" Sirius spat, silver eyes sublimed to gunmetal cold pairs. Daringly, glaring at the younger boy who remained stoical.

"Where she and I went is none of your business." hissed Regulus right back, chin leveled up to meet the taller boy. The resentment was crystal clear in his platinum eyes, if Regulus stated that he despised the Gryffindor boy, she would believe it.

"None of my business—"

"Stop it both of you!" Gammaliel's timbre hit like thunder in drought, full of desperation. Regulus threw his gaze back to the girl, watching her eyes lit bright neon. "I swear one more spat between you two I will blow both of your brains out!"

The Blacks siblings' lips were sealed, face vacant of expression. Though, their jaw became clenched at the sight of the other. Anger encompassed between the two brothers, the way Zeus was never fond of Hades and the other way around. Heavens and heathens civilians were sure wouldn't get along.

Regulus remained silent noticing the Irish girl's frustration, and he laced his hands around hers while watching the light in her eyes faded back to the azure sea. A reaction akin to when fire met ice, he found it fascinating how a momentarily touch could subdue the witch's magic so significantly.

Gammaliel tore her gaze up to Sirius, eyes ocean dark, pleading for the two wizards to calm down before she queried. "Sirius, what's the matter? Why are you looking for me, what is it?"
