"Sorry."

"Hm? For what?"

"We can't go looking for your body immediately because of me.."

"It's okay. Let me serve punishment this w-"

"You don't need punishment!"

Wei Wuxian smiled. "Not everything I did was the right way to do it. I guess. I did in fact kill those people. Directly or indirectly. It's already fortunate? A gift? That I'm back here and have a seocnd chance Lan Zhan"

"..."

"Then. Think of it another way! I can keep you company this way and there is no trouble!"

"Mn. If you want to go out any time, just go out through that entrance there. You should also keep A-Yuan company."

"Of course I will. I'll keep Lan Zhan and my little radish company! And nobody~ will know!"

"Hey Lan Zhan, remember when we first came here by accident?"

"Mn"

"Those were fun days. Don't you agree?"

"Mn. Easier too."

"But, good thing we're closer now. You even treat me like a friend now! Can't believe it took me so long to annoy you just so you become my friend"

"Not annoying and not that long."

"Lan Zhan. Lying is against the rules. You wouldn't even talk to me when we were copying rules in the library!"

"You had punishment. You were copying rules. Not us."

"Shhh shhh, let me pretend. My memory is bad. But hey, you could've made my punihsmnet more fun."

"Punishment is not meant to be fun."

"... But...." 'I'm talking to you while you're doing punishment.... Happy talks. Need happy talks'

"Wei Ying?"

"Nevermind, you're right. Punishment is not meant to be fun. But they're always fun with me! Say... do you think bunnies can swim?"

"Not sure. The water is cold though."

"Let's experiment!"

"..."

"C'mon Lan Zhan!"

"What if.." 'you die in rabbit form?'

"Yes. What if!" If his rabbit form, he paced back and forth around Lan Wangji. "What if someone tries to drown me one day! What if you're not there as well, like someone steals me or... I get lost. I do have bad memory and get lost easily sometimes. What if, I roll down a mountain and plop into water. Many many possibilities Lan Zhan."

"..."

"And, I'll be practicing safely here! If it's too cold, I'll get out once I finish having my fun. You're here to fish me out quickly too!" He looked up with big wide bunny eyes, nose and tail twitching for extra cuteness. 

"Fine."

"Yes!! Let's go!"

And there, they walked over to the shallow end of the pool. 

~ In the Hanshi  at Cloud Recesses ~

"Welcome back A-Yao, have some tea."

"Thank you Er-Ge" 

They both took a sip of tea. 

"Is this new tea Er-Ge?"

"Yes. A-Sang brought this the last time he came with Da-Ge. He said it was a new specialty from a travellor coming from the South. If you like, I can give you a box. He have me a few till he brings other types next time." He smiled taking another sip. 

"I'll have to thank you then Er-Ge. The after-taste is also very pleasant. The smell is quite comforting as well."

"You're also here to meet earlier than we normally do with Da-Ge. Is everything at Koi Tower okay?"

"Ah." Jin Guangyao gave a small smile. "Just stress. Father and his demands and just many things to look after." He sighed, shoulders slouching a bit. "Madam Jin is also not in good health since Zixuan and Lady Jin passed."

"Oh.. I'm sorry I can't do mu-"

"No no. Er-Ge, just speaking and drinking tea is already helping."

"Then I'm glad. Feel free to come whenever your're too stressed."

"Thank you Er-Ge" he smiled brightly again. 

"Er-Ge... how come I don't see Wangji?"

"Oh..." His smile faltered a little. Then sighed. "He's in seclusion. He'll be there for a while."

"Why did he go into seclusion? Is everything.."

"Sorry A-Yao. I can't tell you why. But he'll be better once he's out."

"It's fine. I understand." He smiles. 'Which means the library pavillion is empty for a while...' "How is Grandmaster Lan's health?"

"Ah. He's still quite strict. He's been more strict ever since Young Master Wei was studying here."

Jin Guangyao let out a small chuckle. "Many forget he was once a playful prankster."

"Yes. Always chasing after Wangji" he chuckled shaking his head while reminiscing those days.

"Very sad how even war affects the most playful people."

"Hm.."

Back to writing a chapter for this fic as I finally had a little something of an idea this morning! 

This isn't important but the title is swimming and fishing because swimming for the first bit and fishing as in JGY fishing for info from LXC :D (Yeah, I'll go away now)
