I venture deep into the shadows of the dense forest, my heart pounding with urgency.
"No...no." I mutter through clenched teeth, pushing myself further into the wilderness.
"Luci, where are you!?" Macy's voice echoes through the trees.
Panicking, I feel my senses sharpen, my body undergoing a change. I urgently need to find a safe place to conceal myself.
"Pst! Luci!" Dan beckons me from behind a tree.
I quickly join him, crouching down together.
"Luci!?" Macy's voice draws closer.
"I warned you to keep her away!" I whisper harshly to Dan.
"I know! I know! She slipped away from me..." He rummages in his bag and produces a vial containing dark green liquid.
"Where are you!?" Macy's voice inches closer.
"No time to explain. Get on my back," I command Dan.
He complies, and we dash through the woods, putting as much distance as possible between us and Macy. Finally, I set Dan down.
"Here, take it," he offers the vial to me.
"You still haven't told me what it's for," I retort, struggling to maintain control.
"My sister gave it to me, saying it's 'For the one who needs control.'"
I eye him skeptically, my body showing signs of transformation.
"I'm not sure; you know how she enjoys playing the old, peculiar witch,role," Dan explains.
Yusra now isn't the time to be like this-
An involuntary growl escapes me as I hesitate to accept the vial. "Ahh!" Dan suddenly exclaims.
"What!?"
"Nothing, it's just your eyes changed," he stammers.
Cursing my body's rapid shift, I take the vial from him, asking, "Are you sure this will work?"
"You've taken her other potions, and they've worked," Dan reminds me.
With a clawed hand, I open the vial, grimacing at the unpleasant smell. "Ugh!"
Dan tries to hide his nervousness, "You're supposed to drink it, idiot." I glare at him, and he quickly apologizes, "Sorry!!"
I gulp down the slimy liquid, clinging to a nearby tree as I feel my bones contorting and reshaping.
"It's not working...you should go," I struggle to communicate, my body undergoing a tumultuous transformation.
"Alright, I'll see you tomorrow at the house." Dan nods, understanding my predicament. "I'll make up an excuse to Macy." He darts back in the direction we came from.
"Agh!" I rip off my clothes and collapse to the ground, surrounded by the unforgiving embrace of the vast forest.

The dense foliage blurs as I sprint through the shadows, leaving Macy far behind. My senses are on high alert, every rustle and crackle of the forest floor heightening my awareness. My body undergoes further changes with each stride, my muscles growing stronger, my senses sharper.
In the heart of the wilderness, I find a hidden cave and slip into its dark refuge. Inside, I huddle in the shadows, my mind and body at war with the primal forces coursing through me.
