Our Species

We are vampires. Not just any vampires. The hierarchy of vampires. We're the closest thing to a "royal family" of the vampires. We are not typical vampires though and have many different characteristics.

Now for you to truly understand me you need to know that there are three main types of our species. There's side species you don't need to know about yet.

Dracula- the top of the food chain. The closest thing alive to a "King". Very powerful. Power is expressed through the beautiful purple eyes that you spot from a mile away. Dracula can compel anyone at all. Even their family. There is only 1 Dracula. Dracula is practically invincible. The only thing that could truly kill him is a Dracula Senior Apprentice. (We'll get into that later.) If not killed by a Senior Apprentice, in order to "die" Dracula must be ready to die and to pass on his "Dracula" role. Dracula is also immortal so this could take thousands and thousands of years. Don't mess with those perfect purple eyes. Unless you're a Senior apprentice.

Power drain- Dracula can steal the power of any supernatural creature or human. For example, if Dracula kills a vampire, the vampires soul will be transformed into Dracula's body making him even stronger. When Dracula is damaged these vampire souls begin to deteriorate. If Dracula kills a witch he will possess their characteristics. (We'll get into witches later.) Any type of Dracula species, has power drain and can be crucial to becoming extremely powerful because unlike vampire characteristics, witch characteristics can't wilt (although witches are extremely powerful and hard to kill.)

Diet- plenty of "normal human food" for example McDonalds. This cures Dracula's hunger but it doesn't keep him strong. One drop of blood, can sustain Dracula for a whole year and he can work at peak performance for the whole year. Blood keeps Dracula strong, although too much may poison him. This applies for all Dracula species. Apart from younglings they need a whole lot more blood.

Humanity flip switch- any vampire can turn off their "humanity". This means a vampire can turn off their emotions and be "just cruel". For us it's amplified, when we turn off our emotions we feel surges of endless blood lust until it eventually poisons us. For some vampires, magnificent. For us not so much. It is vengeance to us by our ancestors for even trying to be "just cruel".

Superhuman speed strength- This one goes without saying.

Senses- everything is amplified for a vampire. It is majorly more amplified for us. We feel sadness to the point where we don't want to live and we feel elation like we're on drugs. This is a blessing and a curse.

Teleportation- this can only be done by an advanced Dracula. One must master the way of being Dracula to master the arts of teleportation. It can also be activated when a newly born Dracula is threatened once.

Illusions- Dracula can create fake images and emotions and make anyone see things that aren't actually there. This can be useful to "play with his food" or to delude possible "threats".

Necromancy- This is only valid when Dracula has possessed the soul of a powerful witch or many witches. Every soul stole makes them stronger remember. Necromancy is the act of resurrection.

Advanced Necromancy- However, Dracula can also give back souls he has taken if they do not die.

Dracula Apprentice- These creatures have red eyes. They are very similar to Dracula and inhabit the exact characteristics (with the exception of teleportation and advanced necromancy.) However, they cannot challenge Dracula and are obsolete to him.

Dracula Senior Apprentice- These powerful creatures have green eyes. They hold massive power in behind them brutally beautiful eyes. They practically have the same power as Dracula maybe a bit stronger. They have all the characteristics that Dracula does with also the power of our ancestors. With this power they have the power to kill and overthrow Dracula. They're very dangerous and seeing them usually signifies the end of Dracula it is the only thing that can kill Dracula in cold blood. Dracula could always still win though. It truly depends on how powerful the current Dracula is.

Anyways enough explaining all the abilities, time to get into my story. A great story in my opinion.
