The woods

So when I was little I used to live next to the woods i liked to run around in them but I always felt like I was being watched and I always heard screaming from behind me like someone was being murdered and I also heard laughing from every side sometimes I hid in the trees because I saw things run by and look for something sometimes but I couldn't see what they were but they were always vary fast and I always found candy rappers everywhere and the screaming sounded like a kids screaming I would cover my mouth so it didn't here me I told someone but they said it was my imagination also I made some of theses monsters when I was 5 just as a joke but it clearly backfired I'm still scared to go back in those woods...
