Love Story Part 1

"Let's go Tay we're running late" Selena called out to her friend who is still picking out clothes from her vast walk in closet. Taylor has been choosing and discarding clothes until she found a little black dress with a see- through top, high hemline and fitted into her figure. She hurriedly put on a black pair of pumps extending her never ending legs.

The party was in full  on mode when they arrived. Gigi gave them hugs and looked excitedly at Taylor." Taylor I have to introduce you to this wonderful good looking model I worked with in Paris."

"Gigi stop, I'm not interested in any kind of relationship. Spare me the introduction".

"It's been two years since your last boyfriend. You have to move on and replace him".

"I have forgotten him and I'm happy with my life with my cats".

"You're going to regret this Tay. Joe is sizzling hot and cool at the same time. He is a British model/aspiring actor and I know your preference for British men with their sexy accent."

"Gigi, enough. Let me get something to drink" then she walked to the bar area. While waiting for her drink she looked around and her eyes rested on a tall blonde blue eyed man leaning on the bar scoping the place. He turned and saw a beautiful, sexy, tall, blonde, blue eyed woman standing nonchalantly waiting for her drink. She seemed unaware of the impact she has on the male guests who were ogling and trying to attract her attention.

Joe being a man who appreciates beauty checked her out from top to bottom. He likes what he saw and walked towards her confidently with a smile on his face. "Hey there, Ms. Beautiful fancy meeting you here" in his sexiest British accent and alluring smile. Instead of being impressed Taylor was turned off by his cheesy pick up line.
 

He made his way towards her but she turned away forgetting her drink. Joe smirked,  surprised at Taylor's reaction. He is not used to women playing hard to get. They find the means to flirt and try to get his attention. He always has a girl in his arms the proverbial playboy in people's eyes and the social media but this is far from the truth. He is a gentleman in dealing with people specially of the female variety. He does not take advantage of anyone and would dine and wine women but never expect to take advantage of them. He had previous casual relationships that didn't last. He told himself he has not met the woman of his dreams. This girl is trying his patience by ignoring him and he likes it. He has never been the pursuer, he is  always the one being chased.

Taylor is huffing with anger and spilled her feelings to Gigi and Selena. "He's a jerk, I just met the rudest obnoxious man ever. He stared at me and checked me out like I am a piece of meat. How dare he, I hate him."

Gigi and Selena tried to get more information from Taylor but she ignored them and made her way to the balcony. The view is fantastic with millions of blinking lights on the ground and the stars up in the sky. Her attention is so focused on the beauty before her that she is unaware of a presence beside her gazing at her beauty and her enthralling expression while looking at the view in front of her.

Joe stood quietly near Taylor admiring how beautiful she looks and the beatific smile on her face projects a peaceful sense of joy. 

Taylor eventually felt someone watching her nearby. She turned and saw Joe smiling gently at her; no leering or staring look just a simple smile from this gorgeous person. She can not believe that this is the same person that she despised just a few minutes ago.

"Hi I'm Joe Alwyn the guy with the cheesiest pick up line ever. The guy in the bar who was a bit annoying. Remember me now?" then he rubbed the back of his neck like as if to calm himself. 

"Yeah that was really cheesy. I wonder how you get the girl" then Taylor looked him over and said" Hmm I guess you don't have to say anything, women would throw themselves at you. You're one of those men. I knew somebody and he loved all the attention and adoration from multiple women". Joe noted the sadness in her voice and looked at her with compassion  in his eyes. "I'm Taylor Swift, nice to meet you cheesy guy". They both laughed out loud hearing Taylor's remarks.
