A Once Cleared Sky

The five year old Izuku Midoriya sat in a chair at the doctor's office, eagerly waiting beside his mother for the results of Izuku's quirk test. Izuku was playing with his All Might action figure while his mother looked rather happy that her son had the admirable dream of becoming a hero.

Izuku turned to his mother with a mix of hesitating and questioning look on his face, "Mom, do you think I will get an amazing quirk like Kacchan and All Might?" he said, clutching the toy close to his chest, "I'm sure you will" Inko said happily that Izuku was going to achieve his big dream.

The door opened and the doctor sporting a thick orange mustache, round glasses with dark green lenses, and a bald head entered the room with his face looking somewhat troubled. Inko took a note of this and thought of the worse, she didn't want Izuku's dream of becoming a hero to be crushed at such a young age.

The doctor sat down on his chair unprofessionally and scratched his chin in deep thought, "Well young Izuku surely has a quirk, but to say it's confusing to find out, what type and what it does would be an understatement." Both Midoriyas visibly relaxed, while one was excited, the other was worried.

While Inko was relieved that Izuku had a quirk and his dream wouldn't be shattered, she was still worried about what the doctor meant with his statement. "What do you mean Dr. Tsubasa? Is his quirk a mutation?"

'While rare, mutation arising in quirks wasn't anything to brag about', Inko thought as the doctor now had her full attention.

"Well how should I say this..... when we checked Izuku's Quirk factor, we found that his Quirk is surely a mutation, we also found that his Quirk factor showed an amalgamation of two strands, to put it simply, there is a slight possibility that he might end up being a dual Quirk user, but that's when the tricky part comes in, while biologically, he is your son but "both" of his quirks are neither like yours nor your husband's, so with the current technology there isn't a way we can tell what they will they be", Doctor Tsubasa said, shocking Inko. Izuku on the other hand, had a giant smile on his face that can give All Might a run for his money.

"I CAN BE LIKE ALL MIGHT!" Izuku cheered as he ran around the doctor's office. Inko was laughing at her son's antics while the doctor looked happy too. "Thank you very much doctor, come on Izuku, let's go home, we can make Katsudon". They were both happy and satisfied when they went home, with Izuku's constant muttering about the possibilities of his quirk or quirks.

Needless to say, it was one of the best memories of Izuku's life yet.

Izuku arrived at the playground the next day to see Bakugo and the others playing. He ran over to them, excited to tell Bakugo about his quirk, "Kacchan!", Bakugo looked in the direction of the voice and grinned.

"I went to the Quirk Doctor's office yesterday, guess what! I have a quirk!", Bakugo looked at him and smirked, "Whatever Deku, it doesn't matter what Quirk you end up with, you'll never be able to beat me, you probably have a useless quirk like yourself, eh Deku?" Bakugo said, laughing at the greenette as his goons soon followed.

"Why do you have to be so mean Kacchan?"

"I'm just telling you the truth, so Deku, what Quirk did your sorry ass end up with", Bakugo said taunting Izuku, " The doctor said it was a mutation, so it was hard to tell unless it showed any signs", Izuku said, looking down.

"You can't do anything right! Not even getting your own quirk to show up!? Pathetic", He nonchalantly said, while his goons laughed at the sight of Izuku's torn self of being bullied.
