Ah yes. The world is so beautiful, isn't it?
Everywhere you go is so colorful...
Well, what would life be without colors?
Everything would look boring without them, right?
If black and white only exists in our world, that would suck, right?
Everything would look sad without colors, right?
Of course, everyone doesn't like the world to be colorless.

It was just another day for people all around the world doing their usual things. Some go to school, some go to work, some just stay at home and do whatever they want, you name it.
The birds are singing, the flowers are blooming, the children are playing happily with their friends and family... Ah, sounds fun doesn't it? Well, not until everything starts to be a little odd.

In some areas of ███████, there were a few reports that they witnessed an alleyway "changing colors". Even the people who were in there were affected too. It was unknown how this started. No one knew who was the culprit behind this bizarre phenomenon. An investigation about this was now ongoing.

This incident was not only happening at ███████. It was also happening at ██████, █████, █████, and from almost around the world. That's really strange, don'tcha think? And that didn't stop the investigation. People thought it was a new virus and they started to panic 'cause if it was then they'd have to face a global pandemic.

The authorities themselves couldn't even identify this strange thing whether it's some kind of virus, some kind of black magic summoned by people who have access to magic or whatever. Well, that didn't matter for now. What's important is that they'd have any information about this "thing" as the investigation goes on. 20-40 people were already affected by this, in other words they already lost their colors. They claimed that they feel physically drained because of it.

People around the world started to panic. They were scared that they might be next. They thought the world was about to end. They thought they would never do the things that they used to do again. The screams and sobs could be heard everywhere you go, no matter how hard you try to cover your ears.

According to the people who've lost their colors, you'd feel exhausted all the time even though you're not doing anything. Even the slightest movement of one of your body parts would be already tiring. They also claimed that you would instantly collapse 'cause of how physically drained you are. And you'd also be desperate for someone to carry you or help you to get up due to lack of energy. Man, that sure sounds horrible.

The people who were affected by this "thing" kept increasing. No matter how hard they try, it was impossible to avoid it. Doing tricks to avoid it would't work either, unless you're smart enough to, y'know. The count then started to rapidly increase, even the investigators, the well-known celebrities, and other people who have the higher ranks started to be affected. Almost everyone were affected and it was unstoppable.

If everyone's losing their colors, this affects every life on Earth. After a while...the Earth was now officially colorless. Everybody was on the ground, some laying on their stomach, some laying on their back, and some sitting on the ground. All of them were struggling to get up.  All of them were desperate to move, but they feel exhausted.

They didn't know what to do anymore. What would happen to their lives just by being unable to move freely like before? Everything quickly changed. In just a blink of an eye, the world wasn't the same anymore. The world that they used to know is gone.

No more colors. Just black and white. Everyone feels exhausted. They couldn't get up. It was hard to do so.

But then, one scientist managed to force herself to get up. It was ██████. She was also affected by this bizarre phenomenon. When the world used to have colors, she had ████ hair and ████ eyes.

"Damn it. I...gotta do something..." The scientist muttered as she attempted to get up but eventually did. Confident that she still has her strength, she managed to stand up. She stumbled a bit but it was a success. "Wait...w-where will I..." She grunted as she nearly fell, but she managed to hold the table for support. "Where will I...get the colors...?" She continued.

"It's impossible...no...wait a minute..." She mumbled as she thought of something that sounded impossible. "What if...most of the people out there still have...their own colors?" She blinked, gasping quietly. "Now I gotta...make a tracker..." She mumbled under her breath, walking to her supplies slowly as she was leaning on some of the nearby objects for support.

Despite the current situation, the scientist managed to get up and do something to save the world. To save its own people. To save nature. To save life. She was determined to do everything to save everyone and every living organism on Earth.

She somehow made her own cane—even though she's  2█—to keep her balanced. And a tracker to, of course, track the people who still have their own colors. The tracker was actually working, but it hasn't detected anything...for now. The scientist had hope she'll find somebody who could volunteer to lend their colors to save everyone. "Alright...here goes my journey." She said with a determined smile as she walked out of her lab.

As she went outside, everything looked dull. And sad too. The scientist looked around, not having empathy for the people who've been suffering for some odd reason. Could she be some kind of sociopath? We'll never know. She kept walking but her pace was slow.

She kept checking her tracker to see if it detected amything. It still hasn't yet. The scientist sighed, groaning.  "C'mon you piece of junk..." She muttered, aggressively tapping the tracker's screen. She thought that it was acting up. "Ugh. Fine. If you wanna act that way then go." She snapped and sighed again, continuing to walk.

It took her hours to walk around her hometown, and the tracker still hasn't find anything yet. After a while, it started to beep loudly it annoyed the scientist. But at the same time, this excited her. She followed the location but she kept her slow pace, knowing that she doesn't have any strength to run like before. "Finally! I thought it would be impossible!" She said in excitement.

30 minutes or so have passed, she walked into an empty alleyway, looking around. "Hello?" The scientist said loud and clear. Nobody responded. "Anyone here?" Nobody responded again. After several minutes, she heard a faint squeak, which caught her attention. She looked around again and started to walk to look for the person responsible for it.

Then, she noticed a figure running so fast she didn't catch their appearance. "Hey! Wait up!" She said as she started to walk a little faster. "Damn it. I'm not gomna catch up with whoever that is." She muttered. She kept walking until she saw something that couldn't believe her eyes.

It was a girl who was in her 20s but was short and somehow looked really young, looking like a kid, wearing a hoodie/sweater with large and oversized sleeves, short jeans and boots. Her hair had black to brown ombré and it was styled into a low pigtail. She had red eyes and is wearing glasses.

The girl was curled into a ball in the corner, whimpering quietly as if she was scared to be captured by the people wanting to take her colors away. "M..Maderine?" The scientist mumbled, wide eyed. The girl stopped whimpering as she heard her name, looking at the scientist.

"██████...?"
