Diamond Black has always had a good life. With his mother and caring owner beside him, it seemed as if nothing could ever go wrong. But one little change can make a huge impact in one's life.
Diamond is forced to separate from his mother when both are sold to new owners when their old one becomes ill and grows worse by the day. The wonderful life the horse once lived vanishes as he travels further and further away from the home he once knew since birth.
To Diamond, things weren't going to get any better, but the horse learns that even though life seems rough, something good comes out of it in the end if one believes and continues to be strong, earning another change as well.
