Three hours came and went after Sullen left school that day. Very little activity was done during those surprisingly short hours of time before retiring to bed. The room was pitch black with the alarm as well as the tiny peak of sunlight through the curtains being the only sources of light but even then, it wasn't much. Sullen lied in bed, her breathing being the only sound in the room.

She turned to look at her alarm. 5:50 p.m. it read. She lied there, contemplating all her worries as none of them seemed less serious enough to avoid.

The girl wondered. About her friend. About herself. The fact that it all started because some classmates decided to dare the new kid to go say something to her. The first thought was obvious. Sullen wasn't an open person at all. She was also never really calm about anything. As a result, she could never get along with anyone. Most of the students quickly became annoyed while others completely feared her. She would never interact with anyone except for whoever she spoke to over her phone.

With all said, it was always a surprise to everyone that Sullen would frequently get good grades in school. Many people made rumors that she would steal the answer sheet before every test but that was confirmed to be untrue after the teacher did an investigation through Sullens desk and backpack only to find nothing.

Another rumor was that Sullen was secretly a robot and that was why she was so good in every class but that conclusion was easily debunked as her grades in all her classes consisted of A-'s to B+'s and rarely an A+, assuming that if she were a robot she would receive that kind of mark everytime.

Nevertheless, Sullen did not care. But what she did care about was what her peers knew about her. Even though they meant nothing to her, Sullen always kept track of what everyone knew and how close they were to facts.

With all that said, Sullen had a reason to stay silent. She was a ruthless person. Absolutely careless. Management with rumors was not an easy job. The fact that her life involved streets fights, money, and drugs was basically impossible. If any rumors were related to those, there would definitely be trouble.

Then everything changed when her and Sun were pushed together. Her feelings changed so drastically as time went on. It was like everything Sullen knew soon became new again. The more she learned about Sun the more it made her wonder about other things. Sun was able to spark something that no one else could. There were times when she thought meeting Sun was an eye opener to what she was doing for work. It hardly made sense since this was something her family did for years, but it was just a theory.

Then there were times she thought Sun was the problem. That she was a warning. A trap. Someone trying to act super nice to make her trust her enough that she would feel comfortable telling her the truth regarding her personal life and so she could use that information to ruin everything for her and everybody else.

Though she didn't want to assume who Sun was but, at the same time, she couldn't jump to the conclusion that she was a pure sole 100%.
It was an ongoing battle.

Then her bedroom door made a creaking sound from behind as someone seemed to have opened it. Her theory was made correct when she saw a shadow of someone standing in the door frame. Sullen knew who it was so she didn't bother reaching under her pillow for anything. Let alone sitting up as he would come over uninvited multiple times a week. Sullen tightened her grip on the covers in case he tried pulling them off her.

"Go away, Stevie!" She finally said. "Just because I have stuff you can't get yourself doesn't mean you can come over any time you want to get it!" Sullen sunk her face into her pillow, her fists still bawled over her blanket. There was a pause for what felt like minutes.

"I'm not Stevie," a voice answered. Sullens eyes flew wide. At first, she thought of getting up, but that idea quickly vanished when she remembered how long the person had been standing in her bedroom. It was Sun. Her voice proved it. The girl approached closer to the mattress.
