Julie wanted to relax after getting her boys back, so she found the small television that her mom kept in the studio for sleepovers and set it up in front of the couch.

"Ooh, are we having a movie night?" Reggie asked excitedly.

Searching through the milk crate of dvds, and finding the one she was looking for, she pulled a sharpie labelled disc out of its case.

"Close," she opened the dvd player to put the disc in, "we're getting you guys up to date on cartoons."

The guys all shared an amused glance as they settled onto the couch. Julie took the chair as the disc menu blinked onto the screen.

"What's Adventure Time?" Alex asked after reading the titles.

"Whatever it is, let's watch it," Luke said, his leg bouncing from the excitement of being able to watch tv without having to try to hear over Ray's snores.

"Dude, you're shaking the whole couch," Reggie laughed, lightly smacking Luke's leg.

Julie rolled her eyes and smiled as she reached for the remote to press play.

"It's about Finn the Human and Jake the Dog," she explained as the theme song started.

"Adventure Time, come on grab your friends, we'll go to very distant lands..." the song played softly from the speakers.

The guys settled down and by the third episode, they were singing along to the song.

"You know, Reggie, Finn kind sounds like you," Alex pointed out.

Reggie laughed, but nodded, "Yeah, a little bit."

"I don't really hear it," Julie disagreed with a tilt of her head.

Luke chuckled, "You didn't hear him before he hit puberty."

Soon enough, Julie had to switch out the dvds and the boys were invested.

By the time they got to the third season, Julie was asleep in her chair and the boys had to bite their tongues to keep from laughing too loud and waking her up.

Alex and Luke kept teasing Reggie for sounding so much like Finn, which he only made orse by repeating lines that he found funny.

Calming down from another laughing fit, they focused back on the tv, only to hear something they weren't expecting.

"I'm a buff baby, but I dance like a man, I can shake-a my fanny, I can shake-a my can, I'm a tough tootin' baby, I can punch-a your buns! Punch-a your buns, I can punch all your buns! If you're an evil witch, I will punch you for fun!" sung by a baby Finn.

With dropped jaws and wide eyes, Alex and Luke turned to Reggie, who mirrored their expressions but with a little less amusement.

"Rewind it, rewind it, rewind it!" Luke shouted, scrambling for the remote, knocking off the table.

"You have to-" Alex started to shout, before remembering the sleeping girl next to them, "You have to learn this and sing it for us," he continued quietly.

Reggie shook his head, coming back to reality.

"No, I am not doing that," he refused.

Luke had successfully rewinded the episode to the beginning of the song and paused before looking back at Reggie.

"Come on, dude, this is hilarious," Luke smiled, titing his head, "We can surprise Julie with it, it'll be great."

Reggie let out an exasperated sigh before grabbing the remote from Luke.

They spent the next hour learning the song and acting out the scene, being careful to not wake Julie.

By the time they felt that they had perfected it, the sun was coming up and the guys heard Ray calling for Julie.

They poofed up to the loft as the garage door opened.

"Hey Jules, you in here?" Ray asked, scanning the room, his eyes settling on the chair where she was curled up.

Walking up to his daughter, Ray shook her shoulder gently to wake her up.

"Hmm?" Julie scrunched her nose and blinked as she sat up and stretched.

"Did you fall asleep out here watching cartoons?" Ray asked, turning off the tv.

"Oh, yeah, I was watching it because I used to watch with mom after her performances, so I felt like I should keep that tradition going," Julie responded truthfully, although with her mom, she probably would've watched a movie instead of cartoons.

Her dad smiled at her, remembering those nights. "Well, it's a Saturday, so don't worry about getting ready for school, but you should think about homework that you didn't have time for yesterday. Your performance was amazing, but school still comes first," he reminded her.

He kissed the top of her head before heading back to the house, and the guys poofed down after they heard the door close.

"Good morning, Julie!" the guys shouted simultaneously, causing her to jump and fall onto the couch.

"I thought I told you to stop doing that," she scolded once she regained her composure.

"We have something to show you, we worked on it all morning," Luke said quickly, ignoring the comment she made.

With the raise of a tired eyebrow, she sighed and leaned back against the couch, crossing her arms.

"Go for it, but it better be quick

, I want to go back to sleep," she said, accentuated with a yawn.

Sharing an excited look, the guys poofed into their places, with Luke and Alex leaning in through the garage door, and Reggie now standing on the coffee table with one of his white shirts resting on his head.

Reggie sang the Buff Baby Song, doing all the dance moves, while Alex and Luke quietly fist bumped and tried not to laugh.

When the song was over, the guys all gathered at the coffee table, patiently waiting for Julie's response.

She hadn't moved from her position on the couch, and her arms remained crossed, but the expression on her face made Luke laugh harder than Reggie's performance.

Her eyebrows were raised as high as they could go, her eyes wide, and mouth open in shock.

After a minute of Luke laughing, he calmed down and Julie finally moved, blinking and shutting her mouth, only to open and close it as if she wanted to say something but couldn't find the words.

"So, what did you think?" Alex asked cautiously.

"I, uh-" she started to say, still processing what just happened.

Reggie yanked the shirt off of his head, "Sorry, I knew it was dumb, they said I sound like Finn and-"

Julie interrupted him with a burst of laughter, "No, it was amazing, but maybe next time, don't do that first thing in the morning. I had no clue what was going on for at least the first half of it."

"Oh," Reggie smiled, "well, in that case," he let the word fade as he took a bow, flicking his wrist as he bent over, making the shirt he was holding twirl.

The other boys bowed as well before they all started laughing again.

"Alright," Julie said as the laughter subsided and she stood to leave, "next time we do a tv show night, I'm showing you guys Knight Squad."
