I looked around the venue to try and find out where the guys went. I even followed the girl backstage and still never saw them anywhere. Once the girl left the venue I decided to stick around the area to see if they were wandering the street somewhere. After about an hour, with no luck, I decided to go to the only place where I think they could be.
Based on the whole "I'm invisible" thing and the part where I can walk through walls, I'm pretty sure I figured out what I am. I've seen enough movies.
I'm not totally sure this will work, but I close my eyes and I think really hard about the place I last saw the boys. All of a sudden, I feel a little tingle and I open my eyes to see the garage in front of me.
I slowly approach the door and I hear talking from inside. I try to knock, but my hand goes right through it. That will take some getting used to. Instead, I poke my head through to see what's going on. I see Luke talking to none other than the girl from the venue and they look like they're having a serious conversation. Before I can really hear what they are saying, the girl throws herself into Luke's arms and they embrace in a tight hug. I have to look away for a second because all our old memories come flooding back. I've missed his hugs.
Who am I kidding, I've missed him.
When I look back, Luke starts to glow. Then, Reggie and Alex get in on the group hug and they all start to glow. I have absolutely no idea what is going on but they somehow look happier and healthier than when I first got here.
Not long after the hug, a man who I assume is her dad yells for her to come inside. I was sitting on the steps leading to the house and before I could get up to hide she comes running out of the garage. I go to say something to her, to see if she can give me any answers or explanations, but she runs right past me and into the house.
She can't see me either.
I walk to the garage and wait to step inside. My biggest fear is that the guys won't be able to see me.
What if they can't? What will I do? Where will I go?
I take a few deep breaths and finally walk through the door. I see them all turned toward each other, engulfed in conversation. I clear my throat to get their attention and speak.
"Uhh... Hey guys, know any good hot dog places around here?"
They all whip their heads in my direction and stare at me with their jaws wide open. Alex and Reggie look at Luke, waiting for him to speak.
"Sam?"
