Lillian's POV
Hi, I'm I'm Lillian Jackson. I am 15 years old and I have raven black hair and sea green eyes. I have never known either of my parents and I am prateor of the twelfth legion-
Woah, woah, woah. Sorry, let me start from the very beginning.
When I was one years old I had been dropped off at the wolf house. Lupa and her pack had trained me until I was a proper Roman warrior. 2 years later, I was off to the Roman camp.
On the way, I had found a boy about about a year older than me. He had told me his name was Jason. When we were about 3 quarters of the way there we had fought a manticore. It had stabbed me in the back with it's tail. I had fallen to my knees in pain, screaming. Jason had killed the monster with an imperial gold sword that could turn into a coin. He knelt next to me and tried to heal my sting.
"Ja-Jason. Go." I said weakly. I was shivering.
"No. I can heal it. We can both get there." Jason said stubbornly.
"Jason." I said sharply. I took an intake of breath. "Our aura is to strong together. You have to keep going."
" No! We're almost there!" He now has tears in his eyes like me.
"Jason, no. You have to keep going. I will be fine." I groan.
"No! You'll die!" He says.
"Either I die, or we both die." I say simply.
"We'll both die then!" He said.
I laugh then immediately regret it. It felt like my whole body was on fire. "Jason." I said sternly. " you will make it to the camp. You will survive. Promise me that." I tell him.
"I- I promise." He said. He kissed my forehead and smiles sadly at me.
My body immediately relaxed. "Okay, then. Go!" He turns around and runs out of the little cave we were in. I was slowly falling into a slumber that I knew I would never wake up from. I heard a soft, 'I love you, Lillian Jackson,' and I smiled and it all went black.
Jason's POV
I kissed her forehead, and smiles at her to give her hope. Some might say I was to young, but then again I also had been trained by a wolf to be a Roman warrior. I loved this girl. Her loyalty. Her bravery. I felt guilty turning my head away from her. Before I could change my mind I ran out the opening. I whispered under my breath, 'I love you, Lillian Jackson.' Out of the corner of my eye a caught her smiling. I guess she heard me. I ran away from the cave desperate to not turn back and help the dying girl.
