I went to bed early, since I was tired from work. I slept for about 3 or 5 hours.

I woke up. I glanced at the clock. It was 2AM. I could feel heavy breathing on my neck. I didn't dare look behind me. I think that's what saved my life.

I checked my phone. The cameras were blocked. I got up, not taking one look at the bed, and checked the cameras.

I was right.

My $600 "Super-Cam" was blocked with some sticky green substance. I grabbed the slime off and threw it in the garbage.

As I headed back to bed, I still didn't look at the bed.

Just the part I slept on I looked at.

I could feel the breathing, heavier than before.

As I clutched my pistol, I jumped off the bed. Looking behind me, I saw my dog. What was he doing here?

I put the gun down, then climbed into the bed. I pet his furry little ears, then turned on the news.

As I listened, the more and more horrified I became. Something had happened, and it had gone terribly wrong.
