' You mean also the library' he said with a smirk

'Oh shut the fuck up' I replied laughing as I hit  his arm

'Language, miss y/l' He just laughed too, yeah you're reading it right

'Oh shut the fuck up again' I couldn't hide my smile

His laugh was so genuine it gave butterflies to my stomach

Now thats odd

'So do you still want to see the rest of the house or you'll rather stay here?' He asked
'I'll rather stay here' I answered as I picked a book at went towards the couch

But tom started running and jumped on it
'Nope this is mine, you take the armchair'

'I didn't know you could be this childish' I chuckle and sat on the armchair , luckily it was just as comfy

'You don't know a lot of things about me'

'Yeah but I know that you're actually a very dark wizard who wants to take over the world' I stated with a serious tone.

' how did you even come up with that' he asked amused

We spent the time just reading, the crackling of the fireplace was music my ears.

Someone knocked at the door, it opened and revealed Merope.

'I knew I would find you here. Dinner is about to get served, care to join us?' She gently asked

'Yes mom, just give us a few minutes' said tom laying his book on the coffe table, And so did I.

'Okay so, if they ask you something and you don't know how to respond just kick my leg lightly, I'll sit just beside you'

'Yes sir' I nodded

I had Tom right beside me, our mothers in front of us and our fathers at the two endings of the  rectangular table.

It was full of different dishes all of them looked delicious. And the house elves seemed to bring even more and more.

The four adults were just having a conversation with each other until the attention went to us.

'What a lovely couple we have here, both from two powerful pureblood families' announces Mr Riddle

What's with fathers and blood purity? Obsessed much??

I just gave a faint smile and so did the boy beside me.

'And to think that we wanted him to marry Rivers' said Merope hiding a little laugh

'I'll rather not be reminded about that mother' exclaimed Tom

I tried so hard not to laugh loudly

'But we're happy it's the two of you' she smiled

Yeah who's going to tell her?

'So, how long have you to been dating?' She asked looking at the two of us

Thank God we prepared the answers
