Chapter 2

I pushed the buggy down the aisle as I looked for stuff my birthday party.

"We should get this." Jeremy said giving me a smile.

"Put it in the buggy." I said as he threw it in.

"The big 17 how does it feel?" He asked as I grabbed bottle of cola.

"Like nothing really." I admitted to him.

I turned into another aisle as I bumped into someone.

"Oh I'm sorry." I said but regretted it as I saw Kol.

"Hello Cassie." Kol said.

"Cas are you? Who's this?" Jeremy asked.

"This is Kol Klaus' brother." I said as I looked at Jeremy.

"Why don't you leave, I got Cas." Kol said as he compelled Jeremy.

"I need to get home, bye Cas." Jeremy said heading the other direction.

I groaned pushing my buggy down the aisle as Kol followed.

"We're finally alone love." Kol said as I turned to him.

"Don't call me love!" I said as his breath hit my face.

"That's not what your heart says." He says making me slap him.

"I am not Elena or my sister I don't fall in love with killers!" I said.

"Oh but love, I'm not a killer I'm unstable." Kol said as I laughed.

"You haven't seen unstable! Not until you see what I do I'm worser than anything you can imagine. So just stay away." I said turning back around walking away.

"That sounds like a compaction love!" Kol yelled as I continued walking.

I smiled walking into the backyard to see people dancing.

"Happy birthday!" Elena said handing me a present.

"Thanks." I said hugging her.

We pulled away as Elena went inside and I went to the presents.

"You look lovely tonight." Kol said from behind me.

"I am way lovelier than you." I told him turning around.

"What are you doing here?" I asked leaning on the table.

"It's your birthday! why wouldn't I come?" He asked as I gave him a look.

"Happy birthday Cassie." Rebekah said handing my a tiny box.

"Matt invited you?" I asked as she nodded.

I smiled taking the box from her than glared at Kol.

"Now if you'd excuse me I'll be inside." I said as I headed back inside.

I fell on my bed with a sigh in relief.

"You look tried love." Kol said as I growled.

"Why are you in my room?" I asked sitting up.

"Your sister invited me into the house after I compelled her of course."

"You might be a big bad vampire, But you can't compel me." I said as he laughed.

"Lets try that again now shall we?"

I didn't move as he came closer I decide to pretend just for him to feel better.

"Kiss me." He said as I smiled.

I pressed my lips onto his as his arms slid around my waist.

We fell onto the bed as Kol pressed his lips on my neck.

I kind of enjoyed it but had to get away.

I went into the draw to pretend to get a condom but got a pencil.

I jabbed it into his back as he cried out as I pushed him off.

"You aren't serious are you?" I asked.

"I thought it worked!" He said taking out the pencil.

"Listen close. I Clarissa Abigail Forbes cannot be compelled, so why don't you leave me alone." I said as he smiled.

"Feisty I like it." Kol said as I growled.

I grabbed him by the collar opening my window pushing him out.

I slammed the window shut before heading back to my bed.
