first day as the new girl isn't really your favorite experience, as everyone would look at you weirdly every once in a while, not knowing what to say or how to approach you because your face showed nothing but disinterest in everything from the beginning.

that is why you didn't expect a beautiful cat-eyed girl to come up to you with a shining beam on her friendly face, asking for your name and actually initiating a real conversation with you.

"i'm kim jennie. it's nice to meet you, jisoo! do you want me to show you around? oh, maybe you could join me and my best friends for lunch too! what do you say?"

for the first time ever that day, you find yourself smiling at the adorable girl with captivating feline eyes. "sure."

you hung out with jennie for the rest of the period, talking about basically anything that pops inside your clouded heads, and surprisingly getting along with each other so easily, as if you've met each other not just an hour ago, but a year, maybe even a decade.

it felt nice having jennie around.
