Cold and emptiness. That was all Elena could feel when she for the first time after the war got in Hogwarts. Everything looked dead, things felt cold and people had the expressions of who just got out from a funeral, what was partly happening. Take a deep breath.

"Elena, here you are, we have been looking for you for ages, come on, the boys are waiting for you!" Hermione said hugging her like they didn't saw theirselves for years.

Elena forced a smile and hugged her friend, but couldn't hide the fear that was inside her eyes.

As she walked through hallways with Hermione, she spotted the Slytherin potential murderers. Nott, Blaise, Pansy and Malfoy, looking like they had just been tortured, what was a good possibility since everyone in Hogwarts would deal with their death pretty well. There was no sign of hope on them.

"Elena, we missed you so much!" - Ron said with a huge smile on his face, hugging her with his clumsy moves.

"Are you fine? Why you didn't respond our letters? We thought you were lost somewhere in Spain, thankgod you are alive..." Harry said with a tone of concern and relief, also hugging her.

"I am fine, guys, don't need to be worried" Lie. "I didn't get them, Edwiges probably just got lost. And I missed you too..." Elena said trying to hide her dead expressions.

"It's almost dinner time, we can't be late on our first last year day" Hermione said.

Everyone was acting like everything was fine, avoiding to talk about those who left and how everything had changed, but for some reason this was impossible to Elena, seeing so much disgrace probably messed her head, and everyone could see it.

"Elena!! You are here, I am going to kill you! Why you did not answer?" Gina said giving her a hot hug.

"She didn't get them" Harry responded.

"Yes Gina, I am sorry" She answered.

Gina was actually one of her favorite people in the world, she was such a smart, strong and authentic person but still could manage to be loved by everyone. Obviously she was the ideal girl for Harry, aka the "Golden Boy".

She forgotten how good the food was at Hogwarts and being together with her friends made her remember how things used to be simple and easy.

By the middle of the dinner McGonagall stood and asked everyone for attention, she kinda looked concerned but at this point, who wasn't?

"By the end of the dinner, I would like to ask that every 7th and 8th year students remain seated to hear some news from the ministry, the rest of you must get back to your common rooms. Thank you"

Everyone got extremely curious, if the news were from the ministry it was something big, and they didn't need anything else to be worried about.
