He saw her running
All the way to his car
Parked in front of the hotel
And she told him,
"look I like you
And I know I still think
About him
But he was my first love
Who broke my heart
we always remember our first loves
And so I will never forget him
But I think it was destined
For us to meet
That way
And that maybe one day
We might not work out
Or we might fall in love
And yes we haven't fallen
Out of love yet
But it doesn't mean
That we should not try
Because we might just never
Fall out of love."
So he kissed her
Because even though
He hated admitting it
He liked her in a way
Unlike he liked others
And maybe he didn't feel
Any sparks or fireworks
But there was something
And it was waiting to be
Discovered
And now it was
Time to move on
And it was the time for a new beginning
