Meditation (MHA x OC Fanfic)

Prologue Part 1

The citizens of Japan could be seen participating in styles of relaxation that varied greatly from one another. Some were busy swimming in a pool, hoping the chlorine-infested waters would protect them from the sun's heat rays while others were inside on their phones basking in air conditioning and indulging in ice-cold beverages.

On a blisteringly hot summer day, the sun was shining brighter than ever over a certain neighborhood in Japan. There was a cool gentle breeze that provided those who decided to stay outside with brief relief from the sun's unrelenting and scorching waves of heat. The breeze rustled the moss-colored leaves of trees and bushes; birds chirped cheerfully at the presence of natural air conditioning. The sky was dyed a light blue with the occasional white splotch of cloud passing through peacefully.

Interrupting the serenity of this beautiful summer day was a shout. This shout, which appeared to be coming from the neighborhood park, was produced by a seemingly frail four-year-old who was trying to protect another kid.

"K-Kacchan, please stop! It's not o-okay to attack innocent p-people while they're on the ground, defenseless!" pleaded a four-year-old Izuku Midoriya.

While shouting this noble phrase, Midoriya was shielding the helpless kid from his explosive counterpart, Katsuki Bakugou.

Midoriya tried and failed, to display confidence that could rival the greatest hero known to man, All Might. He stood there trembling under the presence of the explosive youth.

"You think just by protecting some loser from my explosions you can become a hero!?"

"Don't forget that you're a QUIRKLESS LOSER. You're just a useless DEKU, and don't you forget it!" spat Bakugou while punching his left hand with his right and creating a mini-explosion.

"Let's go get 'em!" shouted Bakugou to his two followers.

"YEAH!"

"Wait, K-Kacchan. Stop plea-AGHHH!"

This was when Izuku Midoriya realized, that not all people were created equal.
