Would I Be Ecologist?

      I personally would 100% consider being an ecologist as a career choice. I love going into nature where I live and observing animals and their behavior. Since I'm already in nature 90% of my day. It would be cool to know the science behind everything happening. I live on the Eastern Shore of Virginia, so I'm surrounded by wetlands. So I would love to do that as a career. If I did this as a job in ten years I see myself with a happy life. I love where I live so the fact that I would be studying the natural organisms and habitats would be a dream. I see myself knee-deep in the mud with a sample of water in my hand. Waiting to hop on the boat to take it back to the lab to have it analyzed. Then decide what the next course of action should be. I have such huge respect for ecologists everywhere from Hawaii to Antarctica. All of these special people play such a big role in gathering and analyzing data from the environment. If it wasn't for them there would probably be a lot more problems with ecosystems. A lot of animals would even be going extinct and we wouldn't even notice the decrease. So hats off to the ecologists of the world.
