ii. scripting/scripting templates
okay, so in this chapter i'm going to give you my own template for what i have in my script, and the links to some other scripts that are a little more detailed. really it's completely up to you what you chose to script and what you choose not to script. you can script your entire dr, or you can have just main things that you want and leave the rest up to fate.
some things that you absolutely need to script are:
safe-word(s)/actions: this will have you come back to your cr when you say it in your dr, make it something you wouldn't say by accident (you can even script it's tattooed on you so you'll never forget it)
death: i personally scripted that i can't die, you could script that, or you could script that you no one will be able to kill you but you can die of natural causes like old age.
pain: i personally scripted that i have a high pain tolerance so that it all feels real, but you can script no pain at all if you want.
memory: i personally scripted that i will remember every person i meet, and every event big or small.
time ratio: this one is super important!! you need to decide how long your dr time to cr time is going to be! for example; one week in my desired reality is equal to one hour in my current reality. / dr = 1 week = 1 hour = cr. (i personally have mine as dr = 1 month = 1 hour = cr) the bigger the time increment between your times the harder it is on your body. something to keep in mind is that while shifting is safe, it's also physically draining!
things to script!:
name/nickname(s): you don't necessarily have to keep your name the same as the one you have. you could put anything down.
house: this is for you plan on shifting to hogwarts
year: again, for if you plan on shifting to hogwarts. (if their is a specific year you want to shift to, like say you want to got to hogwarts during the tri-wizard tournament, put 1994 down)
birthday/age/height/sexuality/appearance (hair style/colour, eye colour, body type, etc.): again, this is stuff you can either completely make up, or have as realistic as possible.

pet:
hygiene:
personal scent: make sure to add your signature scent for amortentia
blood status: if you plan on having draco be your love interest i'd script that you're a pureblood as he's not all that nice to half-bloods and especially not muggleborns.
accent:
fashion aesthetic:
piercings:
tattoos:
dorm/dorm type:
my wand:
my outfit for the yule ball:
family:
romance:
friends: you don't necessarily have to script your relationship with each of the characters, but if you want to be friends with someone, or you want them to be nice to you, i highly recommend it!

templates: both of these lovely human's have scripting templates in their bios on tiktok. i would highly highly recommend looking though them, and also searching up 'shifting script tips' on tiktok! you might find some really useful stuff in there that you might not have thought to add!
