Epilogue

Charlie's p.o.v

"Okay you ready?" Stella looks over at me. Right now we are in a church and I'm getting married. I never thought this day would come.

"Yes lets get this over with so I can be with him." Tom walks up to me and holds his arm out to me. I slip mine into it and the music starts. The flower girl is Eric's little sister ,Lynn. She's gotten so big. Then Stella and Claire after her. Then Tom and I start walking down the aisle. I look up and see Eric already looking at me. I smile and he does too. As we walk up the stairs I trade Tom's hand for Eric's then turn and face him.

"Dearly beloved we are gathered here to join..." the preacher starts. After awhile he asked Eric for his vows.

"Charlie the day I know I loved you was when we were hanging out with all our friends. I just knew you were the only one that I wanted. No one else. Then that night you were half way asleep. You said and I quote 'I wuv you Eric'. Since then we've had our ups and downs. At one point I thought we would have never made it here but look at us now." I start tearing up. "But all of that made us who we are now. And I wouldn't go back and change anything. I love you Charlie." I was crying by the time he was done and by the sound of sobs I could tell some others are too.

After his was done I did mine. They weren't as good as his. Then the preacher said those magical words that every girl wants to hear.

"You may now kiss the bride." You know those kisses you read about or see in movies. Well I had one but better. It was gentle but passionate. I loved every bit of it. Plus it was all mine.

After that we went to the after party. When Stella got up on stage. I was surprised at what she was doing up there.

"Hi everyone. If you don't know who I am. I'm Stella, the bride's best friend. I'm go to sing The Best Day by Taylor Swift." She listens to the music for a minute while a video of our high school year and everything after it.

"I'm five years old, it's getting cold, I've got my big coat on

I hear your laugh and look up smiling at you, I run and run

Past the pumpkin patch and the tractor rides, look now, the sky is gold

I hug your legs and fall asleep on the way home

I don't know why all the trees change in the fall

I'm thirteen now and don't know how my friends could be so mean

I come home crying and you hold me tight and grab the keys

And we drive and drive until we found a town far enough away

And we talk and window shop 'til I've forgotten all their names

I don't know who I'm gonna talk to now at school

But I know I'm laughing on the car ride home with you

Don't know how long it's gonna take to feel okay

But I know I had the best day with you today

I have an excellent father, his strength is making me stronger

God smiles on my little brother, inside and out, he's better than I am

I grew up in a pretty house and I had space to run

And I had the best days with you

There is a video I found from back when I was three

You set up a paint set in the kitchen and you're talking to me

It's the age of princesses and pirate ships and the seven dwarfs

And Daddy's smart and you're the prettiest lady in the whole wide world

And now I know why the all the trees change in the fall

She smiles at us then walks over and hugs us both.

After the party Eric drives us the the airport to get on a plane. He told me that we are going to Paris. I've always wanted to go.

Let's just say that was the best week of my life.
