Once upon a time, there was a Mountain Railway in Wales, which is known as Snowdon Mountain Railway. There were 4 engines on that mountain railway, and they were called L.A.D.A.S, Enid, Wyddfa and Snowdon. Enid, Wyddfa and Snowdon. Enid was one of the oldest and wisest engines of the railway, Wilfred and Culdee were  kind and cautious lads, so they could get upset at others if they crashed too much. However, L.A.D.A.S was very different than the others. He was rather hard to control, an arrogant, supercilious and reckless engine, he was worse than anyone else.

Then one day, Snowdon, Enid and Wyddfa couldn't take it anymore, so Enid and Wyddfa sent Snowdon to Persuade L.A.D.A.S. L.A.D.A.S was resting in a siding near the Llanberis yards, while Snowdon rolled past him, preparing to take an goods train, preparing the Summit's restaurant.

"Oh L.A.D.A.S, can you just stop being reckless?" Snowdon warned him bitterly. "Even if you survived once, or twice, you will still end up in trouble for sure!"

L.A.D.A.S, on ther other hand, groaned, "Oh, for goodness's sake, Snowdon, luck is like everything! I know what safety is, and I will do things my way."

Snowdon, however, could feel this is the end of L.A.D.A.S .

The next morning was a foggy day. The controller, Mr Aaron Alvermann called L.A.D.A.S to pull a passenger train.  L.A.D.A.S didn't care much, and he did his own business later on.

While L.A.D.A.S was on his return journey, he was so tired. "Oh come on driver, if we don't take this train back home soon, Enid will take my favorite place to sleep!"

"Steady old boy," said L.A.D.A.S' driver, "it's not long-"

The coupling snapped. L.A.D.A.S is now running down the hill, quicker than cheeteh. "HELP!" He screamed horrendously, "SOMEONE HELP!"

But it was too late. There was an old bump on the tracks, and L.A.D.A.S rolled over and over, plunged into the mountains below!

"Oh my dear lord!" Shouted Snowdon and Enid, "What was that, interrupting my dream?"

"Oh my dear lord!" Shouted Snowdon and Enid, "What was that, interrupting my dream?"

The controller arrived, in his untidy suit, ran to the sheds. "There's been a crash down the moutains. Bring the Breakdown Crane, quickly! Enid, come, you will have come and bring a flatbed too!"

"Yes sir. Right away sir!" They both responded.

They go and get the things to ther accident, and they saw a man lying on the ground, with his eyes closed, and blood everywhere. People were all pale, and didn't make any noises, to interupt this terrible scene.

"Is he... fainted?" Enid whispered timidly.

"No," responded Snowdon miserably. "He is... dead, my friend."

Enid's tears rolled down to his buffers, sobbing. "What about our railway's number 1, L.A.D.A.S ?"

Snowdon sighed gloomily, "Well he is terribly damaged, but not dead. I did warned him, yet he never listens......"

After clearing the dreadful scene of L.A.D.A.S' s crash, they took L.A.D.A.S back to the repair shed. Mr Alvermann, with an calm, yet his angry look on his face, said, "Thank you, Snowdon and Enid. You can now pull the train back to Llanberis station." Enid and Snowdon left slowly away, without any voices made......

Mr Alvermann turned his attention to the wrecked L.A.D.A.S, and rebuked after a long silence, "You reckless, arrogant engine! For the first time I saw you doing this, I wanted to scrap you, but I've decided not to, because I thought you will change, but the lord seems not to agree it. I know you would like to have a rebuild, but it's too late. We will be bankruptde if we use too much money, so we will have to...scrap you tomorrow afternoon."

L.A.D.A.S shrieked loudly, and panic-stroken Enid, Snowdon, Mr Alvermann and everyone else. Mr Alvermann had no choice but to leave him alone. The next day, also a rainy day, was L.A.D.A.S' death to be rusted and left alone.

"Where will L.A.D.A.S go now?" Asked Wyddfa and Enid warily.

"I don't know, but I think he will not leave here until we banished his ghost out here."

But that's a story for another day, my dear readers. We will understand more about the new engines of the Snowdon Mountain railway and the construction of the Snowdon Mountain Railway.
