Aim

Chapter 1

Cold wind blows light shining flakes of snow through the early morning sky. People are already off to school and their jobs, but as I watch them joyfully walk around I can't help but wish I had an excuse to stay in bed today.  My parents had already left for work and had told me to go to school today or they'd take away my pc. So I didn't have a choice this time.. I throw on a grey sweatshirt, a pair of black leggings, and a pair of high top converse and grab my bag as I head out the door and begin my walk to school.

During first period there was an announcement of a new girl, supposedly she'd come from Las Vegas and her name was Kayla. She was wearing on brand clothes and looked as if she was wealthy. But she was being followed by a sort of dark mist. Out of instinct, I snarl at her and bare my fangs. I hear the teacher yell at me but it's all clouded.

I feel sick and run out of class, transforming into a sleek black and brown wolf with shining golden eyes about half way down the hall.
You see, this school is filled with the supernatural. Fairies, wherewolves, vampires, you name it, we got it.
I'm among the wherewolves. As well as my pack which consists of my mate, my betas, my omegas, my deltas, my epsilons, and a few other I won't be naming right now.

As I escape the school campus the crisp winter air hits my face, ruffling my fur and making me want to go for a hunt.
But considering I was still feeling sick I decided against it.

I hear paw steps running behind me so I skid to a halt and whip around.
"What the heck, Kalix?" My beta, Nova, cries to me as she skids to a halt in front of me, "What was that about!?" I sigh, half in frustration, "She gave me bad vibes, thats all. But I think I'll skip school today, I'll see you later, Nova. Oh, and tell Eiden I'm okay please." Before Nova could respond, I transformed back to human form and walked back home.

I was so glad to be back in my comfort zone, that I felt I never wanted to leave again. But that was short lived when I heard my phone ring from on my bed side table. My mom was calling.
