True friendships are very rare,
nevertheless, have no doubts
Cuz, they definitely are there.
Once two people met and realised, about each other they do care,
so they became friends fast,
so much so that, their friendship makes other people stare,
and they feel they'll stay steadfast
though they know not whether their friendship will last.
Life takes them in a different way,
even though they wanna stay.
This is the will of God for them both,
they have no option but to cope,
and the seeds for a stronger character are sown,
as they have a lot to learn on their own.
slowly,they start to lose touch,
going on with their lives,
They meet each other after a long while,
and think they are going senile,
now, they both use a crutch,
as they are both seventy-five.
though, it is awkward to talk at first,
they realise their friendship did not rust,
and that they had only Allah(swt) to thank,
who made their ship to surface after it sank,
they sit and start to talk,
and joke that their hair is white as chalk.
out of nowhere, they are hit by a thunder,
and they slip into The Slumber,
I can't help but think,
they'll be reunited in Jannah,
where their friendship will truly stay steadfast.
and that friendship will forever last.
So, don't fret and frown over the friends that you think have lost,
cus, this may be the cost,
that one has to pay for a friendship that truly lasts. :)

Allah(swt) of course is always near and will never let us be lonely and sad, this poem is a humble attempt to try to address the issues or insecurities we humans feel as we lose a precious friend and to instill hope that all will be well at the end :) Tc.
