Poem 1:  Tom & Jerry Cost a Cake

My Mom gave me money to buy cherry,

I left the room & stopped in the living room,

Started watching Tom & Jerry,

And before I realised it was my Doom.

Mom came out & started shouting,

You young jerk "What have you been plotting?",

I made excuses saying I found None,

Which was plain lies.

I held dearly onto my life,

Wondering If this was mother,"How cruel would be wife?"

In the evening, I found & regretted thereafter,

Mom had cancelled the Cake,

She decided to make,

Since, It was My Birthday the day after.
