It had been an incredulous journey, but surprisingly enough, they had made it.

After battling their way through the group stages, the Germans had actually reached the semifinals And there was no intention of getting anything less than first.

Libby jumped on Thomas's back, giggling, completely ecstatic.

"Thomas! Seven goals, that's amazing!" Libby jumped off, Thomas wrapping his arms around him tightly.

"Ja, I can't believe!" Thomas shook his head in amazement. Scoring the first goal was amazing enough, but 6 goals after that was so unexpected.

Libby couldn't help but catch a whiff of Thomas, smelling the freshly cleaned and cologne filled Thomas. His hair was in curls, sticking up everywhere.

Libby let go and Thomas kissed her.

It was obvious to everyone that they had become more and more comfortable with each other, and even Philipp had come to realize their relationship and he didn't interfere anymore.

It seemed as if the media had moved on as well. They had no interest in the "head over heels" love of both Hope and Libby.

Instead they had found Erik Durm's new girlfriend interesting.

Her name was Faith Hall and she was probably the most perfect girl in the universe. With her startling blue eyes, and blonde hair that tumbled down her shoulders, there was no way that she could be beat in "miss perfect".

Erik had randomly shown up with her one day, with a mischievous glint in his eye that Libby was suspicious about, but merely shrugged her shoulders.

It was an undeniable fact that this girl made Libby involuntarily want to throw up. She seemed like a nice girl (in front of the cameras) but behind Erik's back, she despised Libby and showed it well enough.

And even in front of Erik, she would leave snarky comments that no one would notice. Maybe it was just Libby being jealous, which she denied.

But why would Libby be jealous? She had Thomas didn't she? Were her feelings for Erik returning? For all she knew, it could be Erik's plan to make her jealous with this "perfect" girl.

Libby and Thomas let go of each other and Thomas dug his hands into his pockets, Libby crossing her arms and both of them walking out.

The door opened and Erik and Faith were kissing. And not like a little peck, more like hardcore make out session in the middle of the hall.

Thomas cleared his throat and they pulled apart, giggling.

"Sorry, Thomas, uhhh...Liebe," Erik laughed and turned away, grabbing Faith's hand and walking away. Faith turned around as they were walking

Faith smiled smugly. Libby merely nodded and grabbed Thomas's hand and trudged away.

"Liebe, what wrong?" Thomas slowed her down and put his arms on each side of her, looking into her eyes.

"Nothing, nothing." Libby shook her head and started walking without Thomas. She didn't want to ruin the festive mood.

Thomas shrugged it off, oblivious to the whole situation.

"Thomas! Aren't you excited to be going to the final!" Libby changed the topic, poking Thomas's arm.

"Nervous Liebe..." Thomas said, feeling vulnerable. Libby raised her eyebrows, her heart feeling warm for how adorable Thomas was being.

She thought of how she would have been disgusted with herself, every time she got a warm feeling for a boy a couple of months ago.

Oh how Thomas had changed her...
