Floating all around the horizons of my mind.
Mouth zipped up tight,
I know I'm not right.
But you're the one I want,

This heart needs the truth.
Can you love me as I do you?
Or, is this just friendly banter between two?
A darling in the light,
I'll always hold you tight.
If this wasn't meant to be,
please tell me so this love can flee
And yet however much I plead,
You don't have a clue or lead.
This love, only seen by me
Is yours to take or to leave.
And if I could use my words, make them work,
I would.
But words be damned,
when I can't say a simple 'I like you' to thee.
