Phone call (chapter 1)

*Hinatas pov*
I felt the summer breeze shifting around me slowly. It gently blew one of my tufts of orange hair to the side. Sighing, I reached for my phone wishing for a notification. It had been a week since I'd last seen Kageyama, and I was starting to get lonely. He wasn't my only friend, but recently I'd been feeling drawn to him somehow. In stuff I read, that feeling is supposed to be called love, but I wouldn't know, because I haven't ever been in love. I pushed the thought away and dialed Kageyamas number.

*Kageyamas pov*
I flinched as my phone started buzzing in my hand. The words "Hinata is calling..." appeared across my phone screen. After 2 seconds I tapped the answer button, and held the phone up to my right cheek.
"Hello?" I spoke into the phone.
"Hey Kageyama, wanna hang out in a bit?" I heard him ask.
"Why?" I asked confused.
"I um- I'm bored, and I wanna spike some of your tosses." he finally spit out.
"Uhh....okay, what time?" I asked glancing at the clock on the wall.
"Thirty minutes maybe?" Hinata answered quickly.
"Okay, see you then" I said hovering my thumb over the "end call" button.
"BYE!" I could hear the usual happy tone in his voice.
"Bye" i mumbled pressing the "end call" button.

I raised my eyebrow confused. Why was he bored? I didn't mind though. We hadn't seen eachother in a week, and I had been by myself at my house the whole time, because my parents had to do work far away. They said they wouldn't be back for about two months, so it was just me, myself, and I for awhile. My eyes went wide when I realized I hadn't taken a shower in like three days. There was no way I could set volleyballs in this condition. Rushing to the bathroom, I quickly started the shower, and cleaned myself.
