"It's fine, Nathan. Also, are you going to the festival next week?" Josh asked, as he helped me to my feet and handed me my notebooks and pencil case.
"Yep! I have another couple awaiting to start existence. Why?" I asked.
"I'm preforming there with a few friends of mine. You gonna stick around to watch the show?"
"Hm.. sure!" I said happily.
I got a smile as a award for agreeing to come watch Josh play.
Soon, the late bell rang.
"Oh, shit.. we should probably get to our classes.." Josh said embarrassedly.
"Y-yeah.." I don't know why I get flustered every time Josh talks to me, I just do.
I began to walk down the hall to my next class, but I soon stopped when I heard yelling around the corner.
"What do you mean you're breaking up with me!?" I heard I familiar male voice ask.
"I mean, Tristan, that I'm. Breaking. Up. With. You." A girls voice said prissily.
"But- why?" Tristan asked sadly.
"I've just felt like you'd rather be with someone else lately.." The girls voice answered.
"I'm sorry, Tristan.." The girl said before her footsteps faded away down the hall.
I heard crying the next second, so I peeked around the corner to see Tristan on the floor leaning against the lockers.
"Are you ok?" I asked quietly while walking over to Tristan.
"How.. how long have you been here..?" Tristan asked, wiping away his tears.
"Enough to know what happened. Who was that girl? Like, I know she was your girlfriend, but what's her name?" I asked, kneeling on the floor beside Tristan.
"Her name is Brittany.. I thought she was cheating on me, so I confronted her... She said she wasn't but I swear she has hickeys all over her neck.." Tristan said, hugging his knees to his chest.
"Um.. I have a question regarding what I had just heard.." I said.
"Hmm? What is it..?" Tristan asked looking up at me.
"Did you actually want to be with someone else in your time dating Brittany?" I asked.
Tristan jumped a little and blushed, looking at the ground shyly.
"U-um.. yeah.. I guess you can say that.." Tristan said.
"Well? Who are they?" I asked happily and excitedly.
"U-um.. promise not to say anything about it... Ok?"
"Cross my heart and hope to fly." I said.
"W-well.. it's a little weird considering how I always act to him.." Tristan started shyly.
"It's a guy!?" I said excitedly.
Tristan looked at me and his blush turned darker, adding a rosy tint to his tan skin. Then, he looked back at the ground away from me.
"N-not just any guy... I think I like Chris.." Tristan said. His voice cracked a couple times which told me everything I needed to know.
"Wait- really?" I asked.
Did not expect my plan to get that much easier..
"Yeah..." Tristan said, rubbing the back of his neck.
"Perfect! I already have a plan for the both of you anyways!" I said happily.
"Wait- you're not weirded out by me being gay..?" Tristan asked confused.
