HER PLIGHT (Ongoing)

Hey there 🙋,  it's been a while I updated.
Yeah so sorry about that, I've been so busy as of late, struggling to burn the midnight candles for my examinations and other stressful stuff.
Without further ado, I think we should get down to business 😛.

I kept on crying and immediately,  out of the blues I felt a soft and light tap on my shoulders.  I quickly turned to see who it was and I found out that it was Mide, the same Mide that made those two SS2 guys harass me.

"Tola, what's wrong with you, why are you crying, what's wrong " Mide asked me with care in his eye and with an inquisitive mind.
" Nothing's wrong" I said whilst wiping off my tears with the back of my palms.
"Tola you don't know how to lie, I caught you sitting down here all alone and that to, you were sobbing heavily"
"Just leave me alone" I said sternly as tears began welling up in my eyes.

I stood up from the pavilion and picked up my books that were scattered on the ground and I began walking away from the field.

I was almost out of the field, as I felt a firm grip around my wrist. I turned round to see that it was Mide that held my hands.

"Mide leave me alone " I said in an angry tone
" Tola calm down, and tell me_
Before he could even finish talking, I interrupted him
"You left me and went to some place unknown, you knew that i was new and won't be able to supervise those juniors alone, you know that the boys of SS2R can't be trusted and they are capable of molesting girls" I said as heavy sobs came down swiftly from my eyes.

"You don't know how  I just got humiliated by Akin and Ayo in Ss2.
The two boys, tried to molest me Mide and also their classmates started making a mockery of me and___"

I was still talking as Mide pulled me into a tight hug. I quickly hugged him back and rested my head on his chest.
Within minutes, I was okay and I ended our hug.

After Mide finished comforting me, I felt better and I quickly looked at him and left his arms, and strolled down to my hostel, recollecting what had just happened.

"Babe, where were you, you know after prep Adanna and I kept on looking for you thank God we decided to check the hostel" Tolu said.
"I'm so sorry I made you guys worried" I said
"Babe what's wrong, are you okay?? " Adanna asked me with a care filled voice.
" I'm okay" I responded
"No you aren't" My best friends echoed.

I narrated all that happened that evening to my two friends and after telling them about Mide and I's hug,  Adanna was all "Uuuuh" but Tolu pinched her upper arm and I guess she immediately got the memo that I wasn't in the mood.

My friends kept on comforting me and asking if I were okay, I assured them that I was fine and after that,  we all lay on our beds and we drifted off to sleep Island.

    A new day began, classes were super excruciatingly long, lunch was a plate of Semolina and Groundnut soup with a chunk of meat.
I don't like that soup;ground nut soup, so I didn't go for lunch.

I didn't have a chance to speak with Mide today because he didn't really attend classes today I guess he must have had so many head boy duties to perform.

While my friends went ahead for lunch,I quickly went to our school's canteen to get something to eat.

I arrived at the school's canteen and I bought a bottle of fanta,with an egg roll and also ten packets of my favorite sweet;Pin pop,with my meal card.
