The Mission

Part 1

Welcome to part one of this story. I'm deciding wether I want this to be an AN or part of the story. I have a general idea on what I want to do. And since you all loved my last hxh stories I figured I should write another. This one might be sad might not, depends if I add enough detail or whatever lol... Oh and this story has nothing to do with the last hxh stories. Enjoy :)

Illumi's POV:

I walk downstairs to my father's room and knock on the door. He tells me to come in and I open the door and walk in. I look my father in the eyes as I walk closer to him. I sit down in a chair and wait for him to speak. He didn't say anything at first and just kept his eyes to the ground. I was curious as to what he wanted to tell me. Was it something about Hisoka? Or Killua? Did he want Killua back home? No, I don't think he cares much about Killua as an assassin as much as mother does. Was he wanting to give me a mission? Who would I be killing? Do I know them? Do they know me? Or what I do? I hear my father take a deep breath, I look up and look him in the eyes. It felt as if I was looking death in the face.

Silva: I've called you down here because I have a mission for you. As you recall your little "friend" of yours has been *pauses* causing problems for Killua. I would like for you to watch him and keep close tabs on him. Since you already know them pretty well this job shouldn't be too hard for you.

Me: What are you wanting me to do?

Silva: I want you to watch them

Me: Well who is it?

Silva: I can't tell you exactly who yet, I feel like you might back out

Me: I won't back out I promise. I will kill whoever you want no matter who it is.

I looked up and my father had an evil grin on his face. It made me feel sick.

Silva: Well I'm glad you won't back out *hands me a piece of paper* This is their location right now as we speak. I would like you to go there and follow them, don't let them know you're there

Me: What happens if they find out I'm following them?

Silva: We'll find out when the time comes

Me: Ok

Silva: Anything else you'd like to know?

Me: Who is it?

Silva: Like I said I can't tell you right now or you'll back out, you will find out who it is when you get to the location. Now leave before we don't know where they are anymore.

I nod and stand up turning to walk out. I leave the mansion and head for the location. I had no clue where I was heading, well I did but didn't. My father hasn't given me a mission in a couple years so I'm a bit rusty. I pull my phone out and text Hisoka. I tell him that we should meet up later tonight for dinner. After I press send I put my phone back into my pocket. I started walking to the destination that was pretty far away. I'm pretty curious on who this person is. Did I know them? I have so many questions. The closer I got to the destination the more I got nervous. Why was I nervous? I'm never nervous when my father gives me a mission, why now? I was pretty close when I heard talking. I was too far to clearly hear them but I could tell it was a man. Their voice was pretty deep. I hopped up onto a building that was close by and inch closer and closer I saw the man's hair. It was a pink red color. The closer I got to the edge the more of the person I saw. My eyes widened when I saw the figure. I slap my hand over my mouth and move away.
