I walked into the lunchroom unsure of what happened this morning and sat with my friends. Three sat with me. Laura, Clair, and Haley. Laura was tall and thin with hair that looked like silk as it climbed down her shoulders. Clair on the other hand was short with strawberry blond hair ang beautiful green eyes that anyone could easily get lost in. Then there was Haley. She had hair down to her shoulders with wonderfull curls that could make any girl jealous. she was skinny and short but always had a glowing smile. I took out my lunch when Clair said in a curios tone,

"So did you get a chance to talk to the new guy Jake?" i blushed and couldn't help but smile. I replied

"Yea were friends" all Clair did in return was smile. Thats when haley stepped in.

"Who is he? Where is he? I gotta see him. So you like him RIGHT?" She began to look impatient so i looked around to see where he was sitting and pointed in his direction. I noticed he was starring at me with his head in his hands. For the first time I noticed his eyes. They were turquoise with hints of green and i suddenly became glued to him. The color of his golden brown hair. His long eyelashes-

"HELLO" i noticed Haley was waveing her hands in front of my face. I blushed when jake laughed and turned my attention to Laura.

"What happened?" I asked. They all started laughing.

"You were staring at jake for just about ten minutes, thats what" I felt my face redden and that brought on another wave of laughter. When school was over I drove home with a cloud of thoughts in my mind. My mom said

"How was school?"

"Fine, nothing new" i easily lied from years of practice.
