"moving out" Chapter 1

Bryans POV:

I had just finished packing boxes with my things to go to college. As I finish my step dad walks in the room. "Do need help carrying anything to your car?" He asks, I pick up one of the boxs and reply, "Sure". He gets two other boxes off the floor and we start heading to my car. Once we get there my mom opens the trunk for us to put the boxes in. "Thanks mom" I say then go to get the last 2 boxes. I take them outside and put them in the trunk with the other ones, I say goodbye to my mom and step dad, then I grab my keys and get in the car. I leave the driveway and start heading to my dorm. After about an hour drive I make it to the college. I go in and go to the principal and get my dorm room key and a map to the school. I then proceeded to head to my dorm room. Once I get there I unlock the room and go inside, shutting the door behind me. I shiver a little feeling a cold air in the room. "Hey" Someone says, I jump as they speak, as I was not expecting anyone to be there. I look over to where the voice was coming from, I see a black haired boy with blue eyes and a purple sweatshirt on the couch. "H-Hey, I share a-an apartment with you" I reply, "Ok, Im Jon" He says, "Im Bryan" I reply, he gets up off the couch and walks toward me. "Do you need help bringing boxes in?" Jon asks. "Y-Yes please" I reply as I open the door and lead him to my car. I then open the trunk and take two boxes, he then takes the other three and I close the trunk, then we go back to the dorm and put the boxes down. I close the door, Jon takes his phone out of his pocket and checks the time. "Im gonna make breakfast, want some?" Jon asks, "Sure" I reply, Jon heads to the kitchen and starts making breakfast. (Few minutes later) "Bryan!" Jon yells informing me breakfast is ready, I go into the kitchen and sit down. (After their done eating) I get up and go to the sink to wash my plate, a few seconds after Jon does the same. After we're done washing the dishes Jon says, "Class starts in around 20 minutes, we should get going" "Ok" I reply and start to head out the door, I grab the keys and put them in my pocket. As I go to the door to leave I see Jon waiting for me, he holds the door for me as I walk out, after he walks out he shuts and locks the door behind us. "T-Thanks" I say. "No problem" Jon replys then gives and hand motion to follow him, he leads me to my first class, and his first class as well.
