Chapter 1 Diary entry

23/11/03

Dear diary,

I had a strange day today... it's almost as if I blacked out halfway through the day? I'm not quite sure what happened but I do know that something terrible has happened because I'm currently the lead suspect in a murder investigation... my mom told me when I came back home, it was around 23:37 when I got back. I was so confused when she told me she had received a phone call from the police department...

All I remember is waking up getting ready for school and leaving the house, anything after that was a blur.
Although I do remember standing in front of a blackish car.. there might of been a woman trapped in there , but I can't quite recall?

Okay I might have lied to my mom. I do remember walking back from school it was cold and dark, however this was not surprising considering it was mid winter. I recall seeing two of my friends trying to break into a car? What happened after that made me freeze on the spot. I jogged over to them, my breath being hotter than the chilly air, which felt as if it was slicing into my porcelain pale skin. When I had approached the car it was quite dark, but I could make out a women staring out into the fog... she was just sitting there with no emotion on her face. That's what scared me. I froze, what I saw next is going to scar me for the remainder of my life... Her neck was
covered in dry blood which had dropped down and covered her previously white t-shirt... her body still; her face pale like and her body lifeless. She died with no expression on her face that's what gave me chills. I motioned towards my friends to see what I saw, but they stared at me like they had seen a ghost? The stared at me with a unreadable expression, that's when I noticed the dry crysmon  blood on my buttoned up white school shirt. That's when my mind went blank and I can't recall anything after that.
