chapter 34 : a shocking news for kartik

"About what?"Kartik asked

"About Kairav. Did you ask her to send him here?"Suhasini asked

"Naira will send him whenever I ask her too. There is no problem at this!"Kartik said. Just then Naksh and Naitik came.

"Naksh,Naitik Ji? What are you guys doing here?"Manish asked standing up along with the others.

"Manish Ji..actually..we..!"Naitik tried to speak but didn't know how to say and that was when Naksh spoke

"We took a decision. Naira's marriage is fixed. Tomorrow is her engagement. So we came to invite you guys!"Naksh said shocking everyone and especially Kartik. Naksh's words angered Kartik.

"What the hell are you saying?"Kartik said in anger

"The reality. Get ready to face it. My sister suffered enough because of you. Our family took this decision for her happiness only!"Naksh said

"Did you even ask Naira about this or are you forcing her?"Kartik asked trying to control his anger

"Of course we asked Naira. And she herself agreed to this! So we would be happy if you guys could come! Let's go papa!"Naksh said and then left along with Naitik.

Without saying anything else Kartik went upstairs to his room. He shut his room door very hard and started to throw down everything that was in his sight.

"Why Naira why! What the hell is wrong with you? I never thought you would change this much!"Kartik shouted.

Kartik went towards the bed and picked his phone up and called Naira.

Naira came into her room and saw her phone ringing. Naira saw kartik's name on the caller ID and Naira didn't answer it.

"I told my Bhai I would listen to him and I should keep it. I am sorry Kartik...!"Naira said to herself before switching off her phone and sat on the bed thinking of what happened earlier.

Flashback

"Naira,papa,mama and everyone I need to talk to you all!"Naksh said calling everyone into the living room.

"Kairav,Go play in the room. Mama will come soon okay?"Naksh said. Kairav nodded and went upstairs.

"Naksh,what's going on? Is everything okay?"Naitik asked

"It's about Naira!"Naksh said

"Bhai?About me? What about me?"Naira asked in confusion.

"Take a look at this!"Naksh said and handed Naira a photo. Naira saw a guy's picture in it. She looked at it and then back at Naksh and gave him a confused look.

"Bhai who is this? And why are you giving me this photo?"Naira asked

"His name is Sahil. My childhood friend and he lives in America. I spoke to him few days back about something important"Naksh said

"About what?"Naitik asked

"About his and naira's wedding. I spoke to him and explained about everything and even about Kairav and he has no problem with it. He's coming to India in two days and the engagement will take place then!"Naksh said shocking everyone

"Duggu have you gone mad? How could you just take this huge decision all by yourself huh? You should have talked to us and mainly to Naira. You don't have the right to take this decision!"akshara said angrily

"Mama I had enough with Kartik and his drama. Naira suffered enough because of him and all of these problem's will only end if Naira marries someone else!"Naksh said

"Naksh this is wrong. I know what Kartik did was a mistake but what you are doing is wrong too. And you didn't even ask Naira? What will you do if she doesn't want to marry Sahil huh? Will you force her?" Naitik asked

"Papa I will never force Naira. If you think that much fine ask Naira. She will tell us the answer. Naira you tell. Will you marry sahil or not?"Naksh asked

"Haa Bhai I will. I will do whatever you ask me to do!"Naira said

End of flashback

Meanwhile in the Goenka villa everyone were concerned about Kartik and what he will do after learning about this.

"Manish this is getting too much. Naksh and Naira are doing whatever they want! How could Naira agree to this? Didn't she think about Kairav?"Suhasini asked

"Maa I don't understand what is naira's problem! What did we do to her? Was loving her as our daughter the mistake we did? I understand she faced so much because of Kartik but Kartik faced so much to. We all know how he was in the last 5 years and now it's getting worse!"Manish said

"Manish Ji I think we should talk to Naira once. Make her understand...!"Suvarna said but was stopped by Suhasini

"Talk to her? Do you think she will listen to anyone? If Naira listened to us things would have been different!"She said

"Maa we need a solution to end all of these problems. We could have made Kartik understand and somehow could made him forget Naira but we can't do that now because Kartik and Naira both have Kairav in between them!"Manish said

"there is only one thing left and that is Kartik to get kairav's custody and bring him here. That's all we can do now"Suhasini said

"Dadi that won't happen!"they all looked up to see Kartik coming towards them

"I will never fight with Naira for kairav's custody and I know Naira well and she wouldn't do that to me as well!"Kartik said

"Kittu can't you see how many problems you are going through because of her?"Suhasini asked

"Dadi I was the one who started this whole mess and I will end it!"Kartik said determinedly

"Kartik she's getting married!"Manish said firmly

"She's getting married. She didn't get married did she? It means I still have time and I will do what is right!"Kartik said

"And I will support you Kartik!"Suvarna said supporting him.

"Fine Naira we will have it your way only. But one thing is for sure that I won't let this wedding take place. I won't give up on you. You are only mine!"Kartik said to himself.
