Harry apparated from his small London appartement he was renting for the sunner to Kings Cross Station.
Tired, he ran through to platform 9 3/4. He didn't recognize anyone and he was early.
He put his trunk down and got onto the train.
He found empty compartments everywhere so picked on near the back of the train and got his blanket and phone out if his bag.
He pulled in his headphones and listened to his calming playlist.
Since the war had ended he had a hard time relaxing in his own mind and had a very hard time being around a lot of people so school wasn't really the best place for him. But Hogwarts was home and the only place he could count on.
McGonagall was scared Harry would suffer from ptsd if on school grounds so she asked for him to visit the school a week before people came back to make sure he was okay. Thankfully he was.
Half an hour after sitting down, the train started to move.
Harry sighed as he was alone in the back of the train. No one to disturb him.
He looked out the window at the passing scenery and sighed fearing he might have made the wrong decision going back.
"Hey potter mind if we sit?" A voice said behind him.
"No pansy come on we'll find somewhere else!"
Harry turned his head and saw the two.
"Oh no go ahead there's room and I'm not waiting for anyone" Harry said motioning to the seats across from him.
"Thank you Potter" pansy said dragging Draco into the compartment as well.
The two sat down texting while Harry listened to music.
He was looking out the window but the blond kept getting his attention.
He began to stare at Malfoy noticing his facial features.
After an hour or so Harry got up. He grabbed his robes and left the compartment without a word.
"You have to speak the silence is uncomfortable" Pansy said laying down on Draco's knees. He didn't react to anything she said though.
Harry came back in his robes and sat down again.
"Thank you by the way" Pansy spoke up.
"What for?" Harry asked.
"Well a lot actually" Pansy said sitting up. "You like ended a war and killed the guy who destroyed our lives and tortured our parents. You always fight for what you believe in. You saved Draco from dying like Crabbe did and then Goyle got killed by his father. The two were dating and when he died he accidentally told his father which led to the killing curse in seconds but his father is in Azkaban now, don't worry. You also came back to Hogwarts and helped rebuild the wizarding world that you protect with your life. It means a lot to be able to talk to you. So thank you for being good." Pansy said with a small smile at the end.
"Well I didn't really do it on purpose I just tried not to die" Harry said honestly.
"Oh please. Harry you're amazing and you care about others. Realize it and grow up a little, stop being humble." Draco snapped. It sounded harsh but the words weren't.
The three stayed silent for a minute before Draco stood up.
"Where are you going?" Pansy asked.
"Going to go change into my robes and find the trolley witch. I need sour candy"
Pansy sighed understanding what sour candy entailed. She grabbed her robes and left as well.
