As the gondolla you were in began to rise, you couldn't help but close your eyes and grip Yoongi's arm tighter. You could feel yourself shaking, your hands were cold and your heartbeat was a thousand times faster.
"Are you feeling sleepy, too, Jagi?" Yoongi asked, chuckling.
You slapped his arm before hiding your face behind his arm.
"Jagi, why are you so afraid? We'rr just in a Ferris Wheel. It's not even fast."
You shook your head. "But it's so high. You know I'm afraid of" heights."
Yoongi put his arm around your shoulders and pulled you close to him. "Why? Don't you trust me? Do you think I'll let anything happen to you?" he asked in a quiet voice. It sounded so soothing that you couldn't help but be relaxed a little.
"I know you won't."
"Then don't be afraid. Open your eyes, Jagi," he said. You tried but once you saw the dark sky outside, you immediately closed it.
"Jagi. Y/N. Just trust me," Yoongi said again. He took your face in his hands and turned your head towards him.
"Now, open your eyes." Slowly, hesistantly, you let your eyes fluttered open. The first thing that you saw was Yoongi's warm, brown eyes that you couldn't help yourself but just open your eyea fully to stare at him.
Yoongi smiled at you and you smiled bacl, your fear slowly fading to the background as everything around you vanished. Yoongi slowly moved his face towards you then gave your lips a quick, tender kiss.
"Look," he said and motioned in front of you. You followed his hand and your jaw dropped as you saw the beautiful scenery in front of you. Outside was a sea of lights in the dark night, the lights coming from the houses, buildings and parks. You saw endless lights because of how high you were in the sky but you didn't feel scared now. You just feel amazed.
"Oppa, this is beautiful!" you said, still in awe and you just heard a small chuckle beside you.
Before you knew it, the ride was over and the attendant was guiding you and Yoongi outside the gondolla.
"See. It wasn't that scary, is it? Just don't look down and you'll be fine," Yoongi said as you walked hand in hand away from the Ferris Wheel.
"Yeah. But I still don't think I can ride it without you," you grinned at him.
Yoongi just flashed you his gummy smile before breaking into a run, dragging you with him.
"Oppa, where are we going?" you asked, laughing.
"I think it's time we try the roller coaster," he replied and you screamed just at the thought of riding it.
