The smell of decay only now started to flood my nose and I got uncontrollably nauseous.
The smell was so bad.
I ran through the next couple of hallway sections to get away from the smell before throwing myself against the wall so I could try to process what was happening.
Everything seemed so slow until now. My only option. though, was to keep running. So I did exactly that.
...This is getting repetitive.
Black ooze was coming out of the walls and from the ceiling more and more with each hall section I came through, me eventually trodding through it, every step I take the ooze making disgusting squelching noises, and I didn't know what it was but I didn't care to find out.
I was running as quietly as possible while looking behind my back to make sure that nothing was following me when...
The next door I opened led straight out of the building.
I tried to stop myself from falling to my death, but my momentum carried my straight out of the building and sent me down towards the ground while I was screaming like a little girl.
Well then.
I guess that's the end.
I couldn't feel it, but everything went black once I made contact with the ground.
I feel bad for whoever has to clean that up.
I regained my consciousness to total blackness. I didn't panic, I've been alive for 14 years, I knew my eyes were closed and it would be easy to take in what was happening. So, the next rational thing for me to do was to open my eyes. They fluttered open but closed again almost immediately because my pupils were greeted with harsh light instead of the soft sunlight seeping in from my skylight that I was used to waking up to every morning.
Where the fuck am I?
Once my senses really started coming back to me, I realized I wasn't in my house at all, but a hospital bed...
Huh?
