I don't know about this, I don't make new friends well. I'm Ash. I'm 12 yrs old, and I'm about to move from West Virginia all the way to Toronto, Canada. I'm quite nervous, I've never moved before. I know this is hard for me to say this, but I may as well. I'm non-binary. I'm neither a boy nor a girl. I haven't told anyone except you, as West Virginia is a very homophobic and transphobic place. I'm also trixic, which means I like girls. I want to tell someone, but I just can't. I told my parents, but they don't agree with it and told me I must go by my incorrect she/her pronouns instead of they/them. I hate it, but no one knows. On top of that, I have to use my deadname - Layla. Ugh! I really hope that in Canada, I can be who I really am, rather than who everyone wants me to be and who I'm not. Anyway, I've got to go, my plane leaves soon!
