Songs mentioned are 'this side of paradise' by coyote theory and 'turning page' by sleeping at last. Hope you all enjoy!

The wind grew louder and the silence was deafening. I sat and hummed to myself quietly waiting for him. The rain bounced off the window, the perfect winter day. My humming was interrupted when he entered. I turned my head abruptly and a smile naturally grew on my face. "Sorry I kept you waiting, are you ready?" Cedric perfect face confused my thoughts and my heart skipped every word that came from his soft lips.
"Oh um yes but where are we going?" A smirk grew on his face as he shrugged and picked my chin up using his fingers. His minty breath hit my face and sent relief down my body. He knew I hated this as my thoughts became clumped and a slight blush grew on my cheeks. He giggled and pushed his lips to mine.
"Wrap up its cold out, I'll wait here." I nodded my head still in his daze he left me in. I grabbed a woolly hat and some gloves before walking back to him.

"Your so beautiful you know." My face lit up and he took my hand. I didn't know where we would go as it was too late to leave for hogsmeade.
"Ced where are we-"
"Shhhh it's a surprise, now be quiet before we get caught." Huh. Caught. Where are we even going?
"The prefect breaking the rules. Are you feeling okay pretty boy?" I said with a touch of flirting.
"You won't tell will you?" We laughed quietly as he held my hand tightly. As we walked a sense of warmth radiated through my body. It was clear how happy he made me, my smile not fading for days after one of our adventures. He never wanted me just for the make out sessions many boys do, he wanted me for me. And the happiness I felt with him is indescribable.

When we arrived at a field not too far from hogwarts, he took me to a blanket filled with all the food anyone could ask for you. He pulled out a flask of fire whiskey and shock filled my face.
"What?" He asked, scared he'd done something wrong.
"Breaking 2 rules in one night. Not a very good prefect now are you." A smile formed on his lips and he shook his head. He played some muggle music and some I remember from my mother. The strange music that sounded so beautiful from her voice. I really did miss her but she would have a better life not knowing me. Maybe just remembering the girl from her dreams. A simple song played and he sang along in his deep but beautiful voice. "You know muggle music?" He nodded.
"It's my favourite, 'this side of paradise'." The rain began to patter down again and we were shaded by some spell he must have done before I got here. He lit some candles and the joys of the song my made my body automatically spring and go out into the rain. I twirled around as I felt so free. My hair stuck to my face yet I carried on twirling and dancing. He began to laugh at me and yet I didn't feel embarrassed.
"Care for a dance, young gentleman?" I asked Cedric and a smile played on his lips.
"Shouldnt I be the one asking that m'lady?"
"Ugh stereotypes, how cliché." He held my hand and spun me out. Another song came on. A beautiful one most probably used for a wedding. He brought me close to his chest.

"Whats this one called ced?" I would try to listen to this later but right now the freedom of the rain in my face as he held me close was something I would hold on to forever.
"Turning pages, it's beautiful isn't it?" We swayed in the rain as his eyes rested on me. I looked up and got lost in his gaze. He looked down as the rain dripped from his hair down his perfect face and put his soft lips to mine.
"Y/n y/l/n I love you." My heart jumped at the word so overused yet perfect to describe the feeling that glows deep in my chest.
"And Cedric Diggory I love you too." And we danced into the sunset as the rain hit our faces, too happy to notice the chill in the air.
