Prologue

    The Duford kids were searching around in their grandpa's attic when they found a picture of their grandpa with a blue hedgehog smiling.
    The kids ran down the attic steps to their grandpa's room, where he slept peacefully.
    "Grandpa Aidan! Grandpa Aidan!" Shouted Ellen, the youngest of the 3, "We found a picture of you and a weird blue mouse."
   Aidan, who wasn't fully awake yet and was still recovering from the disturbing wake up call, looked at his grandchildren.
   "What was that you said?" Aidan asked, rubbing the sleep from his eyes.
   "Grandpa, what is this thing?" Joel, the middle child, and only son, asked.
   Aidan grabbed the picture from the kids and saw him standing next to a blue hedgehog by the name of Sonic.
   Aidan hadn't seen Sonic in years, in fact, according to how time worked between this dimension and his, Sonic was probably in his late years as well, and had finally settled down from his fight with Eggman.
   "That, would be the fastest thing alive...the Blue Blur." Aidan responded, setting the picture down, getting out of bed, and making his way to his rocking chair.
   "Who's the Blue Blur?" Asked Jess, the oldest child.
   Aidan grinned and signaled for the kids to sit down.
   "Let me tell you all a story," He began, "on how I met Sonic, and how he would forever change my life..."
   And so, Aidan begins his tale, from the very beginning, to his grandchildren.
