I woke up feeling a grip on my waist. My eyes were blinded by black spots, my vision was a blur. Once my eyes had adjusted, I was in bed, an aspirin and a glass of water by the nightstand. I would've grabbed it and gulped it because my head feels like it's getting jackhammered. But I can't the grip around my waist was tight. I looked behind me and saw a guy. Uh, what was his name again? Jack, right? His eyes fluttered but shut down again, I knew he was awake.

"If you could let me go, that would be really helpful." I said.

He let go of my waist and I put the aspirin in my mouth and drank the water. And I realized I was naked. I grabbed the sheet and covered my body with it whilst immediately grabbing my clothes at the floor.

"You don't have to cover yourself, Troian. I've seen that amazing body already." His husky voice spoke.

I ignored him and started to put my dress back on and my shoes and grabbed my phone by the nightstand.

"I loved last night." He spoke.

"Maybe we should do this again sometime." I said, grabbing my shoes walking out of the room in the process.

"Actually I wanna do this every single day." He said.

I froze in her spot. Chills running down my spine. He got out of bed and walked towards me. I sighed and turned around.

"Fine. So how do you wanna play this?" I asked.

"No strings."

"So, you and Marcus broke up?" Danielle asked again.

"Yeah. I caught him having sex with some blonde bimbo." I said, pressing the phone between my shoulder and ear as I put on my pajama shorts.

"So, you see any cute boys you like?"

I was going to tell her about Jack, but no, I wasn't going to tell her that; 'Yeah hey I went to this bar and a hot stranger came up to me, and we fucked in the restroom and took a round two at his place now we're friends with benefits.'

"No. And I don't look forward to." I said.

"What are you doing?" She asks.

"Masturbating."

The other line went silent, "I'm kidding." I roll my eyes.

"For a second there, I actually thought you were. Jesus, don't do that." Dani responded. "Hey I'll call you back later, okay?"

"Okay, bye."

I unplugged my phone from it's charger and saw messages popped up on my phone. Texts and missed calls from Marcus. My heart felt heavy but still he broke my heart. A part of me told to call him, a part of me yelled no. But still, I ended up calling him.

"Hey. You called back." His voice was raspy.

"Surprise." I said sarcastically.

He chuckled, "Hey can you meet me at the cafe ten minutes from your house? This is important."

I didn't know how to respond. I stayed quiet for a few moments. "Please, this has nothing to do with me trying to get you back, because I know I can't and you won't. I just want us to have a clean slate-"

"A clean slate? Marcus, it happened last night in my face. I can't just wipe it off and come clean." I argued.

"I know that. But I want to start over; as friends." He said.

"Maybe we should be friends in another day."
