Prologue

She rolled her eyes clearly not believing Alex. "Anyways-"I speak up"what's for supper tonight?" She looks over at me"I'll tell you when it isn't here." Alex didn't say anything though their mannerisms showed otherwise. "Also Y/N,what did no gender do to your arm?" I rub the back of neck as I let out a nervous laugh"uh we were just rough housing is all." She didn't seem to pleased"Alex is such a bad person,it hurt my child!"

Alex huffed"alright,alright I get it. You want me to leave!" My mom didn't say anything but she seemed pleased with what Alex said"see ya tomorrow Y/N." I wave at them as they exit the store.

My mom smiles in satisfaction and she takes her apron off and sets it on the hanger,then goes and flips the open side so it says 'closed'.

"Mom! I can't fi-oh hey Y/N." I look to see Ram"hey." Ram then looks over at mom"I can't find my bracelets,have you seen them?" My mom hums"perhaps the bathroom,why?" Ram then runs off into the house. "That was odd." I comment entering the house"anyways,imma go take a shower and then join you guys for supper." She nods and I walk down to my bedroom.

I slam the door open to be greeted with my bedroom. I sigh as I set down my bag on my bed. "This is such a pain." I groan gesturing to my burn"and a shower probably will not help." I then grab some clothes and as I am headed towards the door I see my calendar.

My eyes then widen as I see a red circle around one of the days of September. "HOLY SH*T! YORKNEW IS TOMORROW!" I scream as I hear my mom yell down the hallway about cussing"ah..."I scream softly"that came so soon!" I say walking to the bathroom,I shut the bathroom door behind me and lock it.

I turn on the lights and set my clothes onto the toilet seat. I then turn on the water and let it heat up before stepping in,once it's heated,I take my clothes off and step in.

Tomorrow is Yorknew?! The h*ll? It came so soon! I don't think I'm ready to meet with them again...though I'll be able to see my friends...I wonder how Killua and Gon are? Killua seemed pretty heartbroken when I left...oh! I wonder if Kurapika is prettier! I won't say it aloud,but Kurapika is really cute...but so is Killua...and Gon...then Leorio is but in a weird way...maybe his caring personality?

I shrug as I continue to wash myself. I then stepped out and dried off the put on my clothes,grabbed my old ones and through them into the laundry bin. I walked towards the kitchen to see Ram and mom,I looked around confused. "Where's Shoku?"

"Oh Marci said she'd take the boy for the night." I nod and sit down. While I was away at the Hunter's Exam my mom got a baby sitter for my little brother. I've never met the girl but apparently she's very nice. "Finally,this house is quiet without some crying." Ram sighs"thank goodness." My mom hits her over the head clearly angry about her comment"ow!"

"So,Y/N-"my mom turns to me"I heard you cussing in your bedroom,what was up with that?" I blushed a little at her comment clearly embarrassed by the fact she brought it up. "W-Well,tomorrow is when I go to Yorknew City,and I just saw it on my calendar." I told her"ah ok."

Ram sets down her glass"and you'll be able to see your boyfriend~?" I feel my cheeks burn as I cross my arms and lean back in my chair"he wasn't my boyfriend. I mean,Killua could've changed these past few months and is now super rude and mean." I tell them"anything could've happened. He might even be mad at me since I left." I shrug picking up my fork and digging into my food.

"I doubt that." Ram says.

"Didn't you say Killua was a nice little boy?" Mom asks.

"Mom,I told you he was a assassin,right?" Her eyes widen"WHAT?!" I nod shyly"y-yes..."I trail off"MY DAUGHTER WAS HANGING OUT WITH AN ASSASSIN?!" I slap one of my hands over her mouth"mom! Stop being so loud! The people outside can probably hear you!"

"I DONT CARE! MY LOVING DAUGHTER WENT BEHIND MY BACK AND WAS HANGING OUT WITH SOMEONE DANGEROUS?!"

"I never went behind your back. Besides,I took the Hunter's Exam and I have Nen so I can defend myself. I'm not helpless anymore."

"What's his family name?" Ram asks taking out her phone. "Zoldyck. His name is Killua Zoldyck." She nods and begins to type on her phone.

She finally lets out a soft laugh. "You sure know how to pick 'em,don't you Y/N?" I blush and stand up"Killua and I aren't nor we're dating! So drop it! Yes he and his family are really well known assassins,so? Does that effect anythi-"

"YES! HE COULD KILL ANYONE AT-"

"Mom,calm down." Ram says.

"Killua is very nice...or was very nice...and kind...and pretty...very pretty...and he might have been traumatized but that's ok! I'm ok with that!" I then push my chair in"now if you excuse me,I'll be headed back to my room. So thank you for the meal."

I headed back to my room and shut the door behind me. I jumped into bed and let out a sigh"they don't know anything about him...just because your family are assassins and are probably mean doesn't mean that your children have to be..."

I then yawned and looked at my phone resting on my nightstand. I picked it up to see a text from Killua?

Killua:
I can't wait to see you tomorrow^^

I felt my cheeks burn a little as a smile came to my lips.

Me:
Sorry,I was busy!
I am excited to see you to:))
Is Gon still with you?

Killua:
Hey:)
Yea he is

Me:
We'll talk tomorrow,alright?

Killua:
Yea of course it's getting late

Me:
Goodnight Kil,tell Gon I said goodnight^^
