She hurriedly gathered her things and rushed downstairs heading straight for the kitchen. "Good Morning mom and dad....", she said in a cheery tone. Her mom answered with her nose buried in the morning paper while her dad was making breakfast ,"Good morning princess , first day of junior year are you ready?",he asked placing eggs and bacon on the counter while she grabbed a glass of orange juice. "Yeah, I think so, gonna be hectic but.....I'm sure it'll be ok," he smiled and continued to flip the eggs. She went and sat beside her mom and continued eating , her mom smiled at her and asked where her brother was."Jacob Fernando Gonzalez get your ass down here...now", she shouted.
ANNA'S POV~
I snickered beside her while she clenched her jaw at Jacob's tardiness. I cleared my ears for the tumbling that followed just five minutes after she called. He ran down the stairs with his bag over his shoulder with one of his shoe in hand. He went straight to the fridge for his normal protein shake , my older brother had no intention of eating any carbs , says he's "gotta be fit for the chicas" He smiled at mom and playfully punched dad on the shoulder, he chuckled a good morning while ending with him and I having a playful stare down. I shook my head getting up and grabbing my keys to leave. I kissed mom's cheek heading out the front door to my beautiful violet ferrari I got for my 17th birthday, thank you Daddy😁.(Ok. ..yeah she's a rich nerd who loves ferraris deal with it😂) I hopped in and threw my bag in the passengers seat, starting the car heading towards the school campus. As soon as I found a great parking spot a black Maserati secluded the spot before I got to. What the hell, I parked the car in another spot pissed as hell ready to confront this asshole. I got out grabbed my bag and slammed the door shut. I walked up to his car to give him a piece of my mind , his door opened and....it...it was him. I was stopped dead in my tracks......lost at words as he stepped out and slammed his door shut. It was......Simon...Simon Pierce....the school's bad boy, quaterback, every girls dream 6'7 inches of tattoos and pure sexiness and also.... mymiddleschoolcrush but that's a different story. I still stood there my mouth agape like an idiot.....turning to walk away....a hand grabbed my arm stopping me. I dared not to look around or I might melt under his gaze,"Hey....Is there something wrong", he said I was still lost in a daze. I can't believe it it's him so fit, so perfect such a.....complete asshole, I turned facing him looking at where our hands connected , looking up to face piercing hazel eyes and a jaw dropping smirk. I tugged my hands from him anger taking over me, "Are you blind, you almost killed me you dimwit",I yelled. It's as if the entire school was silenced,no one spoke the sound of the wind blew the trees around us. His smirk grew surprisingly wider ,"I am so sorry your highness.....", he said sarcastically taking a bow, his friends and some other kids began to gather around. This only angered me more.....I was about to say something else above the laughter but an all too familiar black ferrari pulled up beside mine.....Yes...it's Jacob. He quickly analyzed the situation coming to rescue me from his ass of a best friend. Yeah....they are best friends born in the same hospital on the same day in the same year, it's fucking creepy. "Hey....come on Si......she's just my little sister she's sorry ok,". Yeah......wait I'm sorry he's the one who cut in front of me. I was about to protest when the devil himself spoke," It's OK J she was just in a hurry like everyone else it's fine",he smirked even wider while I growled at him, (I mean this bitch literally like dog growled at him) the little gathering was drifting apart while everything got back to normal. Jacob gave me a stern look while he and Simon walked away with his gaggle of jocks. I was frickin' furious...that was soooo.....unfair I glared at him being sure he felt the danggers I was boring in the back of his head. I turned around swiftly almost bumping into my best friend Hailey. "Oh...my gosh, Anna that...was...was...him",she shrieked , Hailey and I knew everything about each other we've known each other ever since kindergarten. I rolled my eyes,"Yeah, him being my crush not so much, but him being an asshole....definitely ",I said in a monotone voice hugging her. She chuckled, "How was your summer?",she asked,"It was OK.....I guess Hawaii was paradise ,how about yours?", She grabbed my hand dragging me towards the school doors ," It was OK......bumped into a few people....kissedmyforevercrush but other than that...... , "Wait do you mean....Garret?", she blushed while we were opening our lockers. Yep you guessed it Hailey is head over heels for Simon's brother Garret and he didn't notice her until last summer when she changed her rep, she was literally a goddess beautiful skin, eyes long hair the whole fit. "Yep.....we were at a party and he couldn't stop staring at me for the entire night he finally came over to speak to me and he made me laugh...a lot we were a tiny bit drunk but we made out". I was shocked while we closed our lockers and headed to class ready to begin first period "OK who are you and what have you done to my best friend "?, I asked feeling so proud of Hailey stepping up her game. She laughed as we went into class thank god Mr . Cavanaugh wasn't here yet. "But seriously Anna...when are you gonna confront him about your feelings? ". I thought about the question as we sat down, "I don't know, but it won't happen anytime soon. She placed her hands up in surrender as she sighed taking out her books. "Oh....did you hear about Rachel.....she hooked up with like 5 guys at that same party I was at". I rolled my eyes Rachel was Simon's on and off girlfriend she was also every guys plaything . "I mean what else can you expect from a head cheerleader /head whore,it doesn't surprise me at all", Hailey laughed at my comment knowing the honesty behind mine words. The bell rang loudly throughout campus notifying the start of class and as if on cue Rachel and her possy came strutting through the door ( cue some cliche popular girl music coz I don't care😂) she was standing in the middle of my two ex- friends Abigail and Gabriella(twins) looking around the room like lions hunting for prey , and we were caught like a deer in the headlights as she spotted us. She sauntered over to our desks eyeing us before moving to seats reserved for them only I mean can you believe these people. Hailey and I were silent along with some other students in the class, the girls began giggling when Rachel got up ready to start her mouth full of crap attitude. She was about to speak when someone walked in an all to familiar chain started clanking and I immediately knew who it was. She was wearing her normal black crop with a black leather jacket, black ripped skinny jeans and a pair of red Jordans , she had a numb tattoo under her right eye (tribute to xxxtentacion) she dressed like a baddass and acts as a baddass. ...how do I know?,welp she's my ROD b****/ other best friend , Brittney. The class was now soooooo silent you could've heard a pin drop.....Britt was literally the girl version of Simon.... she had beautiful tattos didn't really give a damn what other people said and wasn't afraid of anyone , not even Rachel she walked on with her signature chain wrapped around her waist clinking on her motorcycle keys. (Yep Bestiee got a motorcycle yassss) She walked past Rachel bouncing her shoulder accidentally (not😜) into her before finding a seat beside us to sit, she smiled at us then turned to Rachel giving her a smug look, "Is there something you needed?,"she asked her. Rachel was lost for words,her mouth was opening and closing like a fish, Britt chuckled at this. "Awww did the cat catch the head Bitches' tongue", she asked with fake sympathy. Hailey and I giggled along with the rest of the class. Rachel shook her head, "Excuse me who do you think you are ?", she screeched. Britt just smirked and slowly got up,"B-R-I-T-T-N-E-Y and I don't care who you are but, If you ever go near my best friends again....I will murder you ". She sat back down while putting her feet up on the desk not having a care in the world. Rachel was furious now and she was about to clap back but Mr . Cavanaugh came in sending her straight to her seat. Class began shortly after that everything going nicely people chatting about their summers and stuff, the girls and I were talking about the incident this morning, but when I mentioned the part about Jacob turning out to be a complete ass , I could've sworn I saw a hint of blush on Britt's face , I knew she had a major crush on him for like forever....but she doesn't want anyone to know only us. The bell rang for the second class to start as we began heading to the Chemistry lab thank good Hailey and her goons weren't in thus one, when we got there all three of us almost turned back because "they" were there, yep you guessed it Jacob, Garret and Simon. Hailey drew her hoodie over her head while I looked away and Britt tried so hard to play it cool , we forced ourselves to walk in , passing by their table with our heads down, Hailey and Britt speed walked to their seats while I was left in the dust still in sight of him our eyes locked and fixing my glasses I tripped over my own feet , closing my eyes preparing for the impact of hard ground against my face, the pain did not come only to be shocked by strong arms wrapped around my waist helping me up. I heard Hailey and Britt gasp I opened my eyes already knowing who it was to be met with those eyes....the eyes I could get lost in, he smiled at me steadying me on my feet, me being a clutz slipping again out of nerves this time Garret and Jacob stood up slowly sitting back down while the girls giggled. "Are you OK ",he asked in that deep enchanting voice, I stood up better this time finding my balance. I nodded while he let go of me to sit back down with the boys, Jacob had a huge smile on his face as he sat back down, what's up with him. I gathered myself continuing to walk until finally reaching my seat the girls squealed at me as I sat down, I gave them a deathstare while taking my books out for class , Mr . McQueen came in and began to drop some notes on the board,time went by and it was soon time for lunch. The bell rang and we all headed out the door towards our lockers , Britt was talking about this type of knife that she found in a pawn shop and how the old cashier was flirting with her. We chuckled at this, opening my locker a piece of paper flew out and fell onto the ground. It read, "Meet me under the bleachers after school -S". What the actual... "Guys, look at this...", they read it and gasped."Oooh someone has a secret admirer,"Hailey teased ,"And I think I know who it is ", Britt added. "OK you guys it's definitely a prank I won't fall for that shit again ,I'm just gonna let it slide," I crumpled the paper and threw it back in the locker. "Alright fine, now come on I'm starving", we laughed at Hailey , I swear the girl eats like a pig and never gained a pound. We walked to the cafeteria eyeing other kids as they ran around, when we got there, Hailey instantly grabbed a tray we grabbed ours afterwards , looking at the long line we didn't worry at all because Mr. Alejandro the schools chef had our lunches specially prepared. He saw us at the back and called for us to the front, he was always nice to us because used to help clean his restaurant when we were kids. The other students scowled at us as we walked to the front of the line , collecting our lunches we began to look for a place to sit. In the cafeteria it was splitted into 7 parts. First we'd have The Jocks table you can guess who sits there, The Cheerleaders and Head BITCH table, The Emos table awfully quiet and spiritual and shit,The Nerds noses always buried in books , The Skateboarders, they don't really sit and finally our table The Normal people. We just sit there with other people who aren't interested in popularity or fame or having the biggest boobs or asses just. ...normal. This is how it went everyday and the school was more at peace this way. We sat down and began talking about random instagram models and tik tok boys (mainly being Bryce Hall,Noah Beck, Griffin Johnson ok.......The Entire Sway House😂..OK I'll stop). Rachel and her crew walked in but we never usually paid her any mind, Simon, Jacob,Garret and the rest of the football team walked in all in their jersey jackets except for Simon his was a bit different with more swag. By now everyone was looking at them they always caught everyone's attention wherever they went, it was their tradrmark. Simon's eyes met mine and I blushed looking down, Hailey saw this and gave me a playful shove. They yipped and hollered like a bunch of idiots my brother being one of them at home and school. The cafeteria eventually settled down and everyone else was about their businesses. We were arguing about who was sexier Noah or Griffin when my beeped and a message popped up. From:Unknown .....I hope you got my note, I need to see you like...now change of plans meet me in the hallway. My eyes widened and I showed the message to the girls. I looked over to see if Simon was there but he wasn't."Go girl what are you waiting for go see what he wants,"Britt encouraged me. I hesitated a bit before sitting back down, "No I won't, he's....he's not even serious about it...it doesn't make any sense". "Anna you have too,"i still shook my head no. Britt hummed in concentration, "Anna you have to because.....I dare you". I looked at her in shock,"No not a dare you know I never pass up a dare ", I pleaded. "Can't take my word back, Anna I dare you to kiss Simon Pierce",and that's when Hailey choked on her food and my fork fell out of my hand. "Britt....th...that's impossible I can't do that he has a girlfriend ". "Girlfriend shouldn't be even be the right word come on we all know how she is, and even if she does have the guts to try something I'll just rip it open with a broken bottle",she smirked and I gulped at the last part. I love Britt because she will cut a bitch if she has to especially for us. Hailey shook her head in agreement . I sighed finally coming to a conclusion, "OK I'll do it but if we get caught Britt I swear to god ". "You won't relax,go get some girl ". Hailey slurped away at her smoothie giving me a thumbs up. I sighed getting up and walking through the doors into the hallway, I looked around at the empty hallway nobody was in sight and I was about to turn around only to be tugged in a pair of strong hands. My breath caught in my throat when I recognized his cologne, hazel eyes looked into mine along with that award winning smile. "Hi ,"he said . I looked down blushing, loving the way he talked. "Hi" I said my head hung low cheeks heated."Let me see those gorgeous eyes princess,"my body shivered at those words as a finger was placed under my chin tilting my head up. We were undeniably close and the space was getting heated. I looked at him and his eyes were focused on my lips."You were always a mystery, In your pretty skirts and sweaters and those adorable glasses,just perfect," I blushed even more at his words if it was even possible. I swallowed blushing again looking him straight in the eye,"Th....thank you,". He chuckled lightly running his thimb across my lips ,"I always knew wherever you were on campus watching you everyday,". I was stunned and gained a bit more confidence. "Really, do you kinda like me or something ",I joked. "Maybe", he answered and my smile went like that replaced with shyness all over again. He licked his lips laughing huskily at my actions. He placed his hands on either side of my head and he....he kissed me. Shocked not knowing what to do on my first kiss I followed his lead moving my lips along with his. My hands went up to his hair tugging lightly at it's softness. The ball rang and we were still at it heat flushing my cheeks as he bit my lip I gasped and took it as a chance to slip his tongue in, I quickly ended the kiss when I heard a door open and we pulled away from each other panting catching our breaths. He looked at me with mystery in his eyes and if I said my face was caught ablaze it literally was. We stood there looking in each other eyes even when everyone around us was busy getting to class. His signature smirk returned as his friends all came grabbing him by the shoulder dragging him away to Class with their yipping. I can't believe that just happened, I KISSED SIMON PIERCE. I looked around for the girls and found them talking near the lockers. I walked up to them and they stopped talking immediately, seeing the smile on my face and the awkward silence they knew something happened. "Well Anna how'd it go?", Hailey asked. I looked at her and smirked turning back around looking for my English book. "You...son of a bitch....you kissed him didn't you, "Britt asked excitedly. My smile grew even wider. "OH MY GOD, how was he was it good,?" Hailey asked a bit too loudly "Guys....I don't kiss and tell but if you must know it was....magical he said stuff to me that I only dreamed he would say,"I slammed my locker walking to class. "My baby has grown up," Britt said dramatically as we laughed pushing the door open, "It's not really a big deal, ". "Yeah right ", Hailey said as we all sat down. Mrs Stevens came in almost immediately and began teaching the class. Our class was interrupted by an announcement on the speakers, "Will Anna Gonzalez and Simon Pierce come to the principals office immediately?". My smile faded replaced with horror. OH SHIT.
