"Do you want to come food shopping with daddy and I?" I asked Andrew, and he clapped his hands excitedly.
"Andrew has no choice." Liam said, and picked him up, putting him in his car seat and getting in the drivers side of the car. I slid in the shotgun seat next to him. He pulled out of the drive way. The drive to the supermarket was quick, and within ten minutes we were out of the car and I was getting a carriage. Liam got Andrew out of the car seat, and put him in.
We walked in, and headed to the right, next to all the yogurt. I grabbed some of my favorite kind, and headed to the butter, which was right next to it.
Out of nowhere, a little girl came up to me, about twelve.
"Hello." She said, I smiled,
"Hi."
"Are you Peggy Payne, Liam's wife?" I nodded.
"Can I have your autograph?" She asked me.
"You know what, hold on one second."m I reached for my iPhone and dialed Liam's number.
"Yes?" He answered.
"I'm in the milk, come here." I hung up and got one of the pictures of the boys I always kept in my bag. Liam came around the corner.
"You needed me?" I nodded.
"Will you please sign this for this little girl?" He nodded.
"What's your name, love?"
"Addie." She replied, slightly terrified. Liam signed it with a flourish, and handed it to her.
"Thank-you." She squealed, and gave him a hug, then ran over to her mom.
"That was adorable." He said, and I nodded.
We continued shopping until I took Andrew back to the care while Liam paid for the groceries. He climbed in, and buckled himself in. I climbed in shotgun. Liam came back a few minutes later with the groceries. He put them in the trunk, except for a small bag. Liam got in, handed Andrew a Crunchie, me a soda, and him one as well.
"Thank-you daddy." Andrew said, and bit into his candy. I opened my Coke and took a sip. He opened his and banged it to mine.
"Cheers." Liam said. I smiled.
"Cheers." I echoes back, and took a sip. Liam kissed me quickly.
"Ew! Mommy! Your going to get cooties!" Andrew said. I laughed, and pretended to scrub my lips.
"Good thinking." I said, and pushed Liam away playfully.
We drove home and put all the groceries away, and Andrew fell asleep on the sofa. I picked him up, and brought him to his bed. Liam was downstairs, watching T.V. When I came down.
"What are you watching?" I asked him.
"Doctor Who." He said, and turned back to the T.V. While I snuggled up to him and we watched it until we headed to bed tiredly.
When I woke up, I was alone in the bed, and the sheets next to me were cold, as if someone had not been there for awhile.
"Liam?" I called out quietly, and grabbed a blanket, wrapping it around my bare arms. Downstairs was eerily quiet.
"Liam?" I called out again, more worried, the concerned tone audible in my voice. Mi ran back upstairs and went to go check on Andrew. Inside, I found Liam and Andrew on the floor asleep. I nudged Liam, with my toe until he woke up.
"Sorry babe, Andrew was scared, and you looked too beautiful to wake up." I blushed, and he picked Andrew up, putting him back in his bed and closed the door.
"Where you there along time?" I asked him.
"About an hour or so." He replied sleepily.
"It's two in the morning." His eyes dropped.
"Next time wake me up." I said, and we collapsed on the bed and slept until Andrew woke us up. He jumped on the bed.
"What a great alarm clock." Liam said, and opened his eyes, snatching Andrew up, and playing airplane with him. He giggled excitedly.
"Daddy!" He squealed with excitement. Liam set Andrew Dow, and followed him downstairs. The phone rang.
"I'll get it." Liam said, and quickly picked it up.
"Hello?" He answered.
"Yes, this is the Payne's."
"Yes, thank-you." He set down the phone.
"What is it?" I asked.
"That was Katy, Niall was in an accident."
