She fell in love with the way he spoke
and how his heart broke
at the thought of someone else.

Even then she knew -
he was beyond repair.
She couldn't fix him.

As he cried,
his heart grew empty
and hers full of him.

And even then she knew -
she didn't need to fix this broken man to love him.
